What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Blue/bleached my 9

Nice! I haven't seen anybody do that in a while. I was thinking about doing a 7 that way. Cilched it.

Used my Machax and an el cheapo folding saw to help my little one and a couple friends to build a little "bush shelter" out in the back 40 today. Noticed a lot of trees down, now that the leaves have fallen. Might wait for the ground to freeze before I go out there with my chainsaw. I'll post up some pics in a bit after I get them off my camera.

This morning I saved breakfast for my daughter by peeling her apple skins off with my 13!

Awesome! Can't way to see the pics.

Made sure my son kept up his basic wood cutting and blade safety skills with some backyard fun. I am using my BK16, which hasn't left my side, and my son was using his Mora:

Totally Cliched it.

Diced up a leftover jack-o-lantern with my BK9 before tossing it in the garden.

Why on earth did you toss your BK9 in the garden?

I looked at my 10 in its sheath...

Used both my 9 and Cincinnati Machax to do some tree branch cleanup. Spent most of the afternoon with a pole chainsaw in hand but both the 9 and 4 came in real handy for de-limbing to make piling limbs on a trailer easier. Also spent a little time sanding the blade on my other 9. Up to 400 grit now. Not going to go much further. Then I'm going to try to do a dark patina on the spine. Pics later.

Today, I carved a weenie skewer. It's not as bad as it sounds. Hunting lunch today was a thermos of tomato soup in which a couple of weenies were cooking.

Carved skewer kept my fingers from boiling. :D

Looks like a time. Any luck with hunting this year?

GingivitisKahn.........beautiful bow. Always wanted a Howard Hill. I'm a recurve guy but always loved the Hill bows.

Thanks - i really like it. They are way different than recurves to shoot though. Took me ages to convert.

What sort of recurve do you shoot?

Landed an 11 point buck on Sunday morning. Gutted it with my 15, did some work on it with my 2, (I'll spare you the gory details, if you've field dressed and skinned a deer, you know what the 2 is good for) and finished skinning it with my 14. Oh! Used the 2 again to take his rack. No pics for obvious reasons...
