What did you do to/with your Becker today?

I finally got some brass screws and nuts of the right size, so I added some class to my BK9 and BK10.

I swapped out the factory screws on my BK17 with some brass screws.

And then I used my BK9 to cut up some sweet potatoes for leftovers.

Yesterday I used my 24 to split the joints on what was left of the sacrificial bird, then batoned through the backbone so the carcass would fit into the soup pot. That 24 is a handy lil' sucker!

Awesome! I just ordered one today. I've been missing it since I soldo last one a few months back.

Today I made my BK9 get ready to get in a box and come home to me.

Bought the one I wanted off eBay and will post pics when it arrives. I knew it was mine when I saw it, and then made it happen.

Older smooth finish, lightly scuffed, micarta handled and complete with the BK13 also. Just the one I wanted/needed.

I'm toasty right now due to my 24 and my CRKT Kangee hawk (from Dex). That 24 is a great little knife. Now all it needs is a beer opener......

Not today, but it counts. Used the 5 to dismantle the bird. It was a yummy one. You'll notice that I'm also testing a new camo pattern for the military in the event that we need to invade Mars.

Used my 2 to hack and pry the wood scales off another large Bowie I have. This Bowie is old and the wood scales are glued on with brass pins and the wood is as dense as all get out. I wouldn't ever use a regular knife to do a task like this. This job calls for a saw and chisel, but when you have a BK2.....why would you use a saw or a chisel?

That's one tasty autopsy being performed right there...

Built a crappy shelter down town under a bridge...made a fire, made a dog bowl out of a gallon jug

I swapped out the factory screws on all my Beckers, and replaced them with brass machine screws.

Incidentally I found out that for best results, 3/4" screws go well with three #10 lock washers for even spacing of the hardware.
