What did you do to/with your Becker today?

I wish I could say I chopped down a tree with my Machax...but my desire to get the tree down won out over my desire to do so with the 4; so I switched to an axe. I did most of the de-limbing with the 4, though...it wasn't the most efficient tool for the job; but I had a good time doing it. I'll post a thread with pics later (I didn't take them while I was working; and it's too dark now)

I stripped my 14 this week.

Pulled our maple taps today and used my BK-2 to cut and trim sticks to plugs the holes. I also used the blade to pound the sticks home into the hole.

Some quick chopping.

Last bit of sap to add to what needs to be boiled down.

Besides the usual fondle and oiling, I gathered up the family for some pics. Finished the patina on the 12. Got beat to the punch on the Ka-Bar scavenger hunt photo...

Then remembered the 12 is not a Ka-Bar lol

That's purty, cuad.

Thanks!

Actually I stripped both of my 14s. I stone washed one of them, but it turns out that the stones we use for turbine blades in the shop actually smooth the metal surface instead of giving it that "tumbled" look, so it came out smoother looking than the one that only got stripped. I took pictures of both, but will be posting them on a modification thread I'll start soon.

Used my 24 to open the package of the Lansky double sided diamond stone I picked up today. KTP had some great deals on the Lansky line.

Had to use my "tactical" 7 to get the beer open, tho.

Hey Gassy, those look great! I like the way you think! I love my blacked out 15 in the black sheath .Looks cool and simple.

I finally got around to finishing one of my BK14 sheaths...

Not too shabby for my first real sheath. I wouldn't try to market it, plenty of flaws, but it works for me, fits nice, very satisfied!

Full credit to you for those mate, really liked the look of yours so ordered them straight up. Loving the 14 sheath, considering the 24 is my favourite blade of them all. Stitching come up good as well, Nice work man..

I think it looks a-w-e-s-o-m-e. I wish I could do that.

You are an industrious little bugger aren't you Slice. Outstanding work brother..

Yeah those look really cool Gas. I like the black one more I think. But they definitely look like they were made for the tweeners. You just pick them up from Cutting Edge?

No mate. eBay. From the states. I don't think KE stocks them here, only took about 7 or 8 days to arrive. Awesome leather for the price. Two for under $30 U.S. Delivered.
