Was getting worried with those birds so close to that 24! I haven't had a quail egg for years, used to breed them. Being an Aussie back in the day it was never heard of eating them, Aussies were very much meat and 3 veg. Went to a mates house who was Lebanese and his mum made us a feed. I was horrified to see it was quail!
 
I haven't tried it. I'm holding the quails and 2 turkeys for a friend till he gets settled in his new place. Never knew they were so tiny. I could prob eat a couple or 3. They lay eggs like crazy.

Did you eat it? Bet it was good lol

I did mate, but I'm a big guy and needed two or three of them. Lol
 
Cut some sausage and apple for lunch as well as started a couple clementines with my 24. Plus snuck in a pic next to some dinosaur poop. I'll get it off the camera in a bit.

Went hammock camping with my girls for the first 3 days of their spring break.
The last night we enjoyed Cornish game hens, foil-wrapped, and roasted on the coals

The 16 served quite nicely in getting said birds prepped and ready.

On a side note, why is this thread not a sticky????
 
I did what I've been doing pretty much every day, lately. I used my BK5 to make homemade salsa and dress a 4 pound bass. Actually, I dressed a 4 pound bass and taught my 8 year old how to make homemade salsa. She did the hard work.

My 15 gets a workout every single day in one way or another. I love it!
All you "craft beer" guys don't laugh at my choice of beers.:) I love the good stuff to but I cant drink them all day long like I can the poor mans beer!:D
