What did you do to/with your Becker today?

No mate. eBay. From the states. I don't think KE stocks them here, only took about 7 or 8 days to arrive. Awesome leather for the price. Two for under $30 U.S. Delivered.

Cool cool, cheers mate. Never really been a leather fan to be honest but that black one is calling my name now. Me thinks my 17 needs some new pants. Bondage style..

I finally got around to finishing one of my BK14 sheaths...

Not too shabby for my first real sheath. I wouldn't try to market it, plenty of flaws, but it works for me, fits nice, very satisfied!

Not too shabby at all. That looks very serviceable. The stitching looks great. Doesn't look like a first effort.

Thanks man, I made 2 others that were merely "knife covers" but this is my first serviceable sheath. It's doing great so far. Feels a lot better on my butt than the plastic lol.

Full credit to you for those mate, really liked the look of yours so ordered them straight up. Loving the 14 sheath, considering the 24 is my favourite blade of them all. Stitching come up good as well, Nice work man..

Thank you sir! I used a fork to mark it then a drill press to make the holes. Artificial sinew for thread. Broke 2 needles heh.

One day I will figure out how to reply with multiple quotes on my phone...
Just wanted to thank Mrs.C and BeeKay for your compliments as well! It's very encouraging, these boards have the greatest people!

Did all the electrical hook ups for and HVAC system install at an old folks home...

Man, the 14 gets work every day since I got it. Love it! It's perfect for cutting plastic conduit, stripping wire, all kinds of stuff

After using the BK4 to clean up some debris from the recent storm (chopping up some tree limbs so the city will haul them off), played a little "Fruit Ninja" with some of the grapefruits that came down during the storm.

I modded one of my 14s.

No pics, but started a fire with my 16 and 9 last night. MmmMMMmm....fire. Perfect temp for a fire. I'd have one every night if it weren't for all the other shit I have to get done. It's not productive at all just sitting, watching the flames and drinking some nice beer.

Made a fire last night with my Brute and a Mora LightMyFire. The edge re-profile I did on the Brute works wonders for that tank. Actually cuts now instead of bludgeoning....it's still thick, but I was actually able to make some curls last night, something I could never do before with that thing.

Had a log with some old laundry hardware buried in it that I burned last night....was thinking about some forging....but I don't have a hammer or an anvil. Or skills of any sort.

Not today but on Saturday I did some good ole' Arizona Redneck activities...

Went out the Bush Highway to Saguaro Lake brought the following:
Rugar P94 .40 (mine)
Marlin 336 30-30 (mine)
Yugoslavian SKS
Springfield XD Compact 9mm
BK16 (mine)
BK2 (mine)

The bugs out there were driving us nuts so we didn't spend a lot of time but I got one action shot of my buddy Aaron with his SKS:

Then we headed to a cove of the lake and did some significant wheelin' on the way...

(That's Four Peaks in the background)

At the cove, we went out to a peninsula and had some lunch.
The BK2 I brought in action!

Went home after lunch but we came back out with some other friends and went swimming in the lake and made a fire. The weather was perfect.

Such a great day.

EDIT: I don't have pictures but I did use the 16 to cut some other food and create some sparks with my ferro rod from the BK2. Also, I brought my BK11 out there and used it a ton! I had a hatchet but it wasn't working to cut the wood for kindling so I batoned with the 11 and it did an amazing job. Later, I used the 11 to cut some branches off of some Palo Verde trees to make marshmallow sticks.;)

Used the 2 to make kindling for a fire in the fire pit tonight.

Broke in my 16 too doing some feathersticking (a skill I need to work on) but forgot to grab some pics. Next time.

Just a small fire tonight to enjoy a few minutes of quality time with my wife.

Once again, I wish I could say I took this down with the BK4...but I didn't even try that, this time. I used an axe; and did it while I waiting for my tea to cool enough to drink.
The de-limbing, though, was done with the 4....you can see it down there, right? Tree was between 9-10 inches, where I chopped. I left a few limbs attached, because they're supporting the tree...better for sawing tomorrow.

A little closer

That bare patch behind it was from me playing with the 4...some of the shavings from another section (further up) can be seen on the ground.

And the limbs. This pile is about 3.5 ft tall, and 10-12 ft long.
