What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Oh yeah...saw this over at BCUSA...
Good stuff!

Looks intriguing but how does it carry? In all honesty I hated the stock sheath but I realized it has its place although EDC where I live is not really acceptable. In the woods who cares but in town is a different story.
A pic always works better, plus I get to show if the new scales...

Also, I switched the retention strap. So now I am using only the top (slightly longer) strap as the main (bottom) strap. It is Much easier to snap one handed now. Overall I'm very happy with my little modded sheath. Now to grind the spine into more of a clip point, strip, patina and new leather pants. Ah, for the 16, not for me. ;)

last night I searched for Becker sheath mods and I ran across a few similar mods. I figured I'd give it a go, kind of. Mine was the no stitch mod. I only snapped the top and bottom snaps together and folded everything together.

It's completely reversible. Great for pocket carry too.

I did no stitching either, now you could use the other retention strap and super glue it to the bottom. Also super glue the plastic insert to the inside of the fabric. Just sayin..[emoji106]

Think I'm focusing on the BK16 this year. It really seems to like cleaning squirrels. Here are the four it cleaned for me today (all head shots except the last guy - neck shot. Can't win 'em all).

Sooo good. Rain killed the party....
I ended up carrying home 3 bushels of shucked oysters and a bag of shrimp. The crawdads were gone at breakfast the next morning! Crashed in the camper...slept real good with the rain and all...

Added some red liners to my bk2 and blue to the 16. The red ones are just binder covers and worked great..The blue was some liner material which utterly sucks to use and will be replaced asap.

Just swapped the blue to a red binder cover

Interesting... Do you have a pic of the other side of the sheath? Thanks, would be much appreciated!

Your typical variety of many color flexible 3 ring plastic binders found in school supply sections of most stores.

I took out my BK2 from its box, unsheathed it - smiled contently, then re-sheathed it and boxed it away, all the while hoping to use it very soon!
