Got a chance to put my freshly made scales on my 16

A LOT was done with the Beckers this weekend:

Cutting up a 10 lb. pork loin with my 5, which also was used to cut up 7.5 lbs of potatoes and 4 onions to go with:

Cut up a can to make a grease trap/catcher for Sunday morning's bacon, after opening said package of bacon with aforementioned 15:

Gave the 16 the profile it deserves

I'm really digging the inadvertent contrast of the patina on the blade vs handle, especially with that clip. Mmm.

Next to the modified edc sheath, much more sheeple friendly than original

Also stripped and patina'd the king while I was at it..

Stripped my 15 today! I still need to sand a few spots to get that little bit of coating that didn't come off.

Used my BK16 and a pair of Gerber game shears (why oh why did I go so many years without game shears?) to clean some squirrels.

Started a small fire with some birch & fatwood. The 15 did a great job. I'm starting a spoon as well. Kind of a fun project. I've got a lot more work done than in the picture shown (that was merely the start). Again, the 15 did great but I just gotta say, my more threw a lot more and deeper chips, making it go a lot faster. Scandi grinds with a slight convex as secondary bevel, hmmm....
