What did you do to/with your Becker today?

Used my 11 to cut up some kale for the dehydrator

I made myself a heapin' helpin' of late late late late night pancakes that were a whole lot better than they looked.

A little late night steelwork......

Those pancakes look fine to me, Mrs. C. .....though when eating standing up, proper form is no plate, outta the pan, over the sink, with your fingers - it's in the bachelor's handbook - so I don't really fault you for not knowing the proper etiquette ;). That 14's looking good, though - and was prolly way more fun to use than your fingers.
 
Got around to making liners for my BK4 I got for Christmas (yay me!). Found a big orange storage bin at the big orange store for cheap. Hacked it up, traced out the handles, cut, sanded, and hit them with a heat gun to even out the colour and get rid of the white marks.



Also swapped out the brown scales/green liners on my 16 for black and orange, 'cause, you know, shiznit has to match out in the bush. The orange didn't come out as bright as a had hoped, but they'll do 'till I find something better. Tied up a lanyard for the 4, and sharpened her up.







Can't wait until I can get her out and knock the new off of her!

That was not my stripped down 14 though, that's my beloved 24. As matter of fact, I haven't stripped down my 14 although I am soooooooooooooo tempted after seeing all of these beautiful forced patinas that just get better over time.

Preloved, light signs of use...psh, I love a user anyway. Never had D2 before. Excited to compare it to 1095cv.

Score! I love finding used Beckers. I am very interested in your opinion of the D2 VS 1095. I am trying to decide about picking up a 24 soon.
