What did you do to/with your Becker today?

No but I should for my San Mai 11. I don't want that scratched up. I'll post pictures when I do.

I did use my bk2 to make a customer sheath not not to long ago.

A lil somethin for you to look at. ;)

Awesome man!! I actually found the time to head out with my sons and get a squirrel. All three of us enjoy eating them. This time I had them help me skin and gut it outside. They brought the heart and liver in to "show" mom. I forget how funny 5yr olds are at times.

Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the process. But I did use my BK11

Outstanding - glad you got out and got some!

Thanks Trade! It's ball-bustin' cold out for the next week or so, so that'll be it for outdoorsey stuff 'till the ice thickens enough to drill some holes...

Nice pics!
Do you wear a GoPro when camping, or are you three-handed (I noticed both hands in the firesteel & tinder picture)? :-)

Haha, no, that's just me attempting to hold my phone between my knees while trying to strike a firesteel...that's one of two pics that tuned out before the phone went tumbling down onto my pile of shavings…yeah won't be trying that again :)

Working on the tinder tub I keep by my fireplace. Tonight's helper is the BK16.

This also was not technically today, but since I'm new I'm gonna use that excuse

Went out to go to work (late of course!) and this feller was waiting for me. Now my wife's #1 fear is snakes, so I knew I had to get it out of the yard and obviously before she would let the dogs out. I tried to coax, then force him out, but he was having none of it! He acted like he was pissed right off the get go. After 10 mins of this....with the wife watching out the window of course...I had enough and went inside to get a Becker. I admit, I was sorta excited as I decided about which knife to use...sorry snake people. I tried....

BK10 for the win!

Today, I went squirrel hunting with my BK11 (again) but mostly I froze my butt off. It was about 5 degrees this morning when I got out there with 15ish mph winds so it was nippy. The squirrels were smarter than me - pretty sure they hung back in the dens and watched Netflix or something.

Used the hook on my BK-3 to grab the fireplace flue handle and close it after a fire. Handy, as there are no fire gloves here at the moment.

If I was more drunker, I would use my RB(BQ)K to build a fire right on my basement floor. I'm 'bout ready to start some cryo-treatment of my Beckers - single digit temps do funny things to the bra.....

I finally got around to fixing the rattle on my scales for my BK7 :) The locator pins of the TKC G10 grips had one hole a little deep allowing the pin to rattle. Not really horrible but kinda annoying. Mostly it bothered me because I hadn't caught it before the thread locker had set. Today I added small squares of bicycle tire rubber to each hole to fill up the empty space.
