What did you use your knife for today?

I cut my fingernails, cut up some paper, opened a few packages, whittled a little wood, and flicked it open and closed about a 100 times for it's therapeutic properties.

What did you use it for?

I cut open the plastic wrapper on a roll of rope. Beyond that I haven't needed a knife for anything today.

I use nail clippers for my fingernails. I tend to use whatever is the most appropriate tool I have available for a given task. I don't go out of my way to try to use a pocket knife when there is a better tool available for the job, nor do I avoid using a pocket knife when it is the right tool.

Cut my nails, peeled and sliced an apple, cut some tape, etc. I carried a ZT 0566 and case pen knife today (yellow/CV). :)

I understand, but there's something fun about cutting your nails with a knife. Plus I always forget to clip them and end up needing to cut them to avoid embarrassment.:D

I was installing some pellet stove vent, and was using used vent pipe. Used my Benchmade 710 to remove some old RTV silicone. Used the Victorinox Spartan to straighten the edge of some vent at the connections.

Cut many many many rolls, and sashimi/sushi...

its only been 6 hours, another 6 to go...

Hey 9, stop rubbing it in that your carrying a 566 and the rest of us who have them on order can't carry them today, geesh.;)

Today I used my knife to cut 24" wide roll paper for a poster printer, opened poster printer ink cartridge packaging, and cut a bunch of plastic straps at work. I don't think I've used it since I got home though. It's a Case Trapper in CV and Chestnut Bone that I bought about two years ago and carry often.
