I used my small Bone Collector to open a package with a FILMAM Iberica 2010B locking and a 3BB, the locking sheepsfoot.
Later that day I used the sheepsfoot to open a bag of pita chips, and then the Iberica to open a box with my first Cold Steel knife, a Kudu, and a Higo No Kami (sp?, name?) medium.
Used my BG ASH to baton some fire wood(and was worried to take a pic cause was with someone who if they saw me do that would probably think me a weirdo) , used my Benchmade CSKII to cut some cardboard and used my LSK necker to do some food stuffs.
Today I was forced to Busss out the chrome vanadium.
OH Yah dog.
I took those wire ties DOWN!
Fortunately for me I had just reground the sharpening bevels a lot shallower angle and had put the old carve a curl off a hair edge polish on there. In the past the little Case stockman when up against a medium wire tie very reluctantly cried uncle. With his new reducing regime he scored a knockout in the first second of the fight with a sheep's foot slice and then went on to take out a couple of it's brothers as well. Never broke a sweat. Made it all look effortless. It's all in the preparation.
I had the the Cold Steel Holdout III in the back pocket for back up but we didn't have to wake him up.
Then after I got home I sliced a croissant with the mellon tester. Again; regrinding made worlds of difference. When I got it I sharpened it and went after a sub sandwich bun. Just sat there on the end and slid back and forth pitifully.
Once reground she slices them rolls quick and smooth lengthwise better than any "bread knife".
PS: oh yes, and there were those letters opened this morning with the little stockman. Deployed the clip point in that maneuver. Victory was ours.
PPS: the patina is coming along nicely, tomatoes really do the trick. Getting a nice gun blue happening.
