What did you use your knife for today?

Crappy quality pic but batoned firewood with my BK9 on Sat night for a Firepit get together with some friends....

I really like the way the BK9 looks

Used several of my knives today. Sliced an apple with my LionSteel SR-1, sliced some cheese with my Kershaw Blur (no, I did not cut the cheese, I sliced it!), and am hoping to disembowel someone with the Blur today. Probably won't happen, but I can hope and dream. Plus I like saying disembowel!

I threatened to skin one of my cats with my Strider SnG, but he just looked at me like " Oh really? You sir can go to hell! I'm busy playing with my toy mouse."

Used my Ontario airforce survival to open bags of concrete, make stakes for tie lines for fence posts and cut the twine to connect the two. Used my crkt Ryan to open mail, open a bb canister spout, and cut some string. Oh.. And did a stab/penetration test on some bamboo hardwood flooring. FYI. The bamboo performed better than oak flooring

I disemboweled a Texas ruby red grapefruit. It wasn't terribly sweet. The season is just starting (like green apples).

Haha :D

Sliced an apple and opened some mail with the mini tighe rod today. Brandished it a few times at nothing in particular.

Used my Kershaw Knockout to open one of those "cool packs" for my daughter's forehead. She's had a slight fever the past couple of days but we're working through it together :)

Friend bought a roasted chicken for me. Well the chicken never saw it coming. Blade used Spyderco Salt.

Nice to see this thread back. I used my Frosts SWAK to cut some cheese, fruits and other snacks. My Protech Godfather opened a couple of packs of bottled water and cut some rope. Finally, my Climber's scissors were used to trim my nails.

I deadheaded some of my Wife's rose bushes. Opened the mail too. Light duty is typical for my knives.

This thread was a fun one but is "silent" for more than a year.

Maybe people stopped using their knives and are now "just" collecting them.

Today I used one of my Spyderco to cut bandage.
