What did you use your SAK for today?

Yesterday I used my Rambler as a hook to fish out daughter's hairclip from under the porch of a rented cabin.

So many ways this little tool can help!

Had the sportsman on 30km trail (20km, sleeping in hammock, then 10km). Only thing I did with it was that I used the toothpick to remove some pine needle looking thing near from my bottle straw so that I don’t damage the straw.

Soldier sharpened some pencils for a coworker who was trying to use the terrible hand crank sharpener by my office. She said she’d never had a pocketknife in her life.

I gave her a TSA rescued Bantam I had in my desk.

Tightened screws on front door deadbolt.

Used the small screwdriver/can opener on my Pioneer to remove Phillips screws holding the grille on a large floor fan to clean the dust out of the grille and off of the fan blades. Now the breeze feels marvelous again.

Hmm not sure, the sak is pointer but the T2 feels sturdier being a lock tool. The t2 has a chisel tip. I'll have to call it a draw they both did the job. 1 thing I have found i much prefer an in line awl over it being a back toot T grip, doesn't close as easy while using. I can see the t2 paired with the lumberjack or a pruner for a handy combo.

When you're going to cut into wallboard that has paneling installed over it, it is wise to score the paneling. Otherwise, the paneling can strip or tear and leave an eyesore that can't ever be repaired properly. Usually I use a utility knife, but didn't have one on my body at the time.

Not today, but last night I removed my washer and dryer in preparation for new ones to be delivered today. Explorer helped re moving some clamps on the dryer venting.

Yikes! Brave move. I'm always afraid to do that because I'm worried it could mess up the scissor blades. I would rather fold and tear the sand paper along the crease.
