  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your SAK for today?

We had one very late fall strawberry still hanging on and getting ripe. Went out to pick it and some critter had eaten it! (Could have been a squirrel, raccoon, possum, or even an eastern box turtle!)
My son is growing these strawberries and he monitors them daily and yes it's sad when one gets eaten. In our case its common blackbirds causing the grief. I have a motion activated sprinkler now and it works a treat keeping the little buggers away.

In the normal growing season we keep them covered with bird netting, but this one decided to show up quite late and we didn't think to cover it. Oh, well...

With the grass growing so well due to the recent rain, it's time to mow, yet again. 🌧️
Second time this week, don't you love summer?
Up side is, once I'm done I have a few days off to go fishing!🎣
