What Did You Use Your Sebenza For Today ???

Best thing I've read today!
Nice work, those little monsters can be vicious.

Spirograph is my favorite pattern of Damascus, great to see it being used.

My Large Insingo opened up some toys to keep my son occupied at the emergency room tonight. He woke up bleeding profusely from his incisions from last weeks tonsillectomy. Thankfully it wasn't serious and the bleeding stopped quickly.

My small Plain Jane 21 Felled a "Tree!"

Ok, maybe not a tree, but a very large sunflower. We have quite a patch of large sunflowers growing outside my back fence. There is a small creek and large open spaces to let my Dobe explore and the sunflowers had overgrown the path from my back gate. So, I took my small 21 and cleared a little space. Should I have used a different tool? Yes. Did I have more appropriate tools available? Yes. Would it have been as much fun if I didn't use my Seb? NO!

And here is my almost 2 year old European Doberman, Piper.

fixed up an airhose ( so cut the airhose obviously. Repaired both ends on 2x extension leads, which meant chopping the 3 strand wire to get rid of the chewed up stuff, stripping the outer housing , and the inner wires, I cut a few boxes into smaller bits, cut some notches into plastic (for making signs), cut some tape, opened a few things, several zipties. And to top it off, i cut up a can :P The heat treatment isnt bad at all, though I think it could be run at 60. It can ding a little easier than what I am used to but its definitely not bad steel.

Your use is normal! Have a look through this threads pictures :) some good ones including yours.

Finely minced some fresh garlic for pasta sauce. All the comments about the large insingo being awesome in the kitchen are right on... Have a unique small 21 coming in the mail in a few days.. I will of course open that package with the first sebenza..

Wasn't today but whatever, its early and I havent used my sebenza yet. Most likely boxes of frozen stuff later.

few nights ago I got a box of delicious coconuts.

Cut some carpet with the insingo.. I am pretty sure I can stop this back to sharp, it still push cut through printer paper but the cuts were not clean... I think it took a fair beating and held up well

I actually sharpened a new pencil so I could gain access to the graphite. I heard the graphite will help with the sticky lock on my pt-cc.

To cut a cranberry cheesecake my wife made me for my 41st birthday, which was also an occasion that was marked with the purchase of my new 21 Insingo (got it a few days early which was nice).

Insingo craved cardboard today after putting together some chairs... Went through all of that cardboard (some of it double walled and glued) and still push cut the paper the instructions were on...

Well........., though it was minimal use, I used my sebenza 25 to cut the flaps off the container of my chinese pork fried rice I got for dinner. The CRK Flat/Hollow Grind S35VN Blade cut flawlessly though the thin cardboard. The heat treat is perfect as there was no rolling or chipping of any kind..... :D:D:D

My recent Sebenza use was to cut open Liquid Nails and some chalk as I did some work around the house. Oh yeah, I also "used" my 25 to give myself a minor cut while opening and closing it (it's still fairly new) as I sat around watching TV. Hey at least it is sharp so the cut was clean and opening is smoother now after a little breaking in.

Mine just went out for custom stonewash & anodizing, should be back in a week....

Cut up some NY steak last night.

Polished my own edges since factory edge cannot get paper thin slices of steak.
