What Did You Use Your Sebenza For Today ???

This was yesterday, but hopefully it still counts.

I used my large Sebenza 21 to feather some wood for starting a fire, like this:

Lit a strike-anywhere match on the dry bead-blast (works really great but OCD dudes be warned, lighting matches with your Seb gives you instant and permanent snail-trails)

And had a nice fire: (yes this a lazy-man's fire. ;) It was raining so I brought some dry split wood from home to the beach to get it started....cheating yes, but much less frustration)

Is that a sequal?

Yes it is. It was my first try at making benchmade scales. It worked pretty well. The scales are blue Mother of Pearl Kirinite. The sequel is one of my favorite BM's for a small knife. Since I don't have a Small Sebenza yet, its one of my go-to 3" blades.

My small 21 and I just made it back from another camping trip. Used it to shave and feather out some wood, cut paracord to secure a broken tent pole temporarily and slice up a can used as a make shift alcohol burner (was pouring rain when I got to the site).

I fabricated a spoon from a plastic bottle.

I should have taken a picture, it worked great!

Hey KidCongo, better hang onto those strike anywhere matches. They dont make that type anymore due to some chemical in the tip....
I also read somewhere its can cause cancer of the Sebenza.
You will need to send me your knife for "testing"
;-)

25 to cut open bags of feed, bales of hay, 12 frozen bottles of water, trimmed the ends off of zip ties. This Afternoon the 25 was used for de boning a chicken, whittled some pegs for traps on these ground squirrels that are wrecking havoc. Cut up numerous lengths of twine to make bundles.

Helped me de-burr about 150 miter joints today. Dang it was HOT out there!

Glad to be done!

Was helping my best friends wife make a sword for a costume. Cut open some packaging and lined up some masking tape for the sword then washed off for food prep later.

And here's that costume sword all airbrushed up thanks to some help from the trusty Sebenza uploadfromtaptalk1409264509840.jpguploadfromtaptalk1409264525220.jpg

Yesterday I did some trimming in the yard with the large gabon. Much more fun that using the weed Wacker or sissors.

Today it was boxes as usual.
