I used my sebenza 25 today to cut some plastic. Nothing major. I am attempting to repair the top of a cedar chest ( my brother stood on the lid years ago and broke it into several pieces ). When I moved during the winter, I was moving the cedar chest and the wind caught it and flung the top open ( was already cracked badly ) and broke it through in several places. I am trying to glue it back together. Hence the need for the plastic under it to catch the dripping glue. None of the breaks are clean and all my real woodworking tools are in storage. So going to go about it the old way with limited tools. Will let you guys know how it turns out. It will not be like new by any means. But trying to preserve something that belonged to my late grandmother means a great deal to me, even if its not perfect in the end.
