My 14 year old daughter posted using my name and password.
She attends highschool as a freshman.
She would like to participate in this forum but the software supports only one user per email address.
She would also like a self defense knife of her own (Spyderco Delica or Police, or an AFCK) and the opportunity to attend a self defense knife seminar or clinic.
Please disregard her post.
I fly an EMS helicopter.

What do I do for a living? HMMMMMMMMMM.......
-drive really fast
-play in weather that makes the postal service curl up by the fire
-go into places that the police don't go after dark
-function as a shrink/social worker/advocate/quasi-nurse
-conduct informal blade testing for my co workers
-keep the humor levels up with antics/jokes
-occassionally make a life-and-death difference
What Job is this? Well, I am a paramedic, firefighter in training, practical joker, resident knife sharpener and knife nut.

For relaxation, I perform neurosurgery.....LOL. Seriously, I hunt fish, camp, SCUBA dive, punch paper with high velocity projectiles and just basically wander around the state, inflicting my own special brand of insanity and humor where ever I go. It's a tough life, but I LOVE it!!!

You want me to do what? Uh, isn't that a job for the psychologist? I can recommend a good one............

I looked all over for her original post then realized that you probably edited her post.

Anyway, if posting here is based on having a unique email address, why not have your daughter get a free email address on the internet. I think there are lots of places out there that provide them. Isn't hotmail one of them?

Check out http://www.hotmail.com.

Then she can have her own email address. Would that work or not?

For the last 15 years I have been the Chief Cook and Bottle Washer for my own company.

I design, supply, and install custom slate roofs. Mostly in places like Aspen and Telluride, Colorado Oyster Bay, New York Greenwich, Ct. Martha's Vineyard, Ma. I also do a fair amount of historical restorations closer to home (Vermont).

Long ago, before slate roofs I was a State EMS Training director.

My wife, (who is not a knife nut) is a charge nurse in what is probably the third busiest Emergency Department in the state.

I'm an advertising sales manager for a hunting, fishing and outdoors publication. I'm also a volunteer EMT with our local ambulance. Currently contemplating going back to school to become a paramedic.

I'm a broke college sophmore majoring in Criminal justice. I work at the weight room at the desk, help out with track and field clinics and on my school breaks, I work at a place that does stained glass and sandblasted sculptures and Judaic stuff. I get all of the fun jobs, like shoveling mud for 3 days, shredding paper and cutting styrofoam for 3 hours. At least I can carry a knife or 2 or 3 at work!

I work in a unit of the South Dakota State Penitentiary providing chemical dependency counseling and relapse prevention counseling to parole violators. Before that I did roofing and sheetmetal work for 18 years, had to quit that because of an old mc crash injury. When I grow up I want to learn how to make knives.

I'm a little late getting in on this, but, anyway, for most of my day I maintain a Jewish cemetery (digging graves, mowing, etc.). I also use court reporting equiptment and software to do legal transcription for the other part of my day. And lastly my sons and I also started up a retail Web page.

My wife and I own and operate R & S Protection Services. I am a firearms instructor and give the classes for the Alaska Concealed Program, and we're both certified fingerprinters. Best of all we have the largest selection of quality knives and accessories on the Kenai Peninsula. You can find us at; www.alaska.net/~speedrck (and soon at: Alaskaknives.com)
