I just figured things are gettin cozy...we got a thread with pictures, (once I figure out how to post one I will) so I figure it might be nice to know what the people we talk too everyday do for a living... I'm a NYC EMS supervisor, and a self defense instructor. It's been a real pleasure getting to know all you guys. Thanks!
 
Lead Project Manager for a Construction firm that builds data centers, It rooms, and clean rooms.

Lead Project Manager is just a fancy way of saying "head babysitter":rolleyes:
 
Lets see... I was a tree guy, now I'm a forestry student, possibly going into wildland firefighting.
 
Firefighter, Communication contractor for AT&T, and self employed business owner. This is what I do to pay the bills.
 
I work for DuPont Automotive Finishes. I deal with waterborne refinish paints for the auto body industry. Primarily dealing with color match.
Unfortunately I spend WAY too much time traveling around the country. Just got back from Manheim, PA and just booked my next trip to Front Royal, VA. After that, who knows where. I usually end up living in a hotel some 15 to 20 weeks a year.

Other than that, I fish, camp, shoot and canoe/boat when I can. Haven't hunted much in the past few years as business leaves little time.

My son and I are working on restoring an '85 Pontiac Fiero that has seen better days.

Maj, USAF......currently in AWACS, 9 years, 7 deployments to the desert, lots of fun.....
 
I was a sargent (E-5) in charge of a recon (scout) squad. Used to work the Czech border in the wild and wooly days when the Soviet bloc and us didn't like each other so much. Now I am a very mild mannered software/firmware engineer who also works as a volunteer EMT with a wilderness certification nights and weekends and teaches search and rescue to my fire department and others.

And I also agree, I really like the group of guys on this forum and in particular the people on this Wilderness board.

I gather from your many, very informative posts, that you have a particular fascination with the movie Fight Club. I'm thinking that fascination might have some latent or maybe blatant tendencies towards Tyler Durden. :confused:
