What do you all do??

Prepare security designs for commercial construction projects, including access control, video surveillance, perimeter security, and intrusion detection.

And I spend way too much work time on this forum.

What Morimotom said, with a very giving nature. Sometimes they give me things and sometimes I give them things too. Occasionally I even loan them jewelry;) .

Currently a mail room manager - but I'm just a month from graduating art school (graphic design). I'm also a full-time dad and husband. :)

Service tech for a dispenser company specializing in coffee and juice. I'm the guy you call if your espresso machine is not making shots or your coffee grinder is smoking and sounds funny. Hey, my coffee grinder is making a grinding noise:confused: .

i be gettin my learn all up on in teh eighf grade near B-mo marlyland

but seriously i am in the 8th grade out side of baltimore i should be in 9th but i failed :(

I work part-time at REI. The employee discount is beyond sweet, but annoyingly enough, my husband and I split up about the time I got hired, so I can't really afford to buy anything there. :/

I also have a business making and selling jewelry and leatherwork. I've done one real knife sheath. Trying to get into making historical and fantasy armour (lacking a good shear, some shop space, and a few stakes I'm going to have to have custom-welded).

Currently a Grad student in International Relations - with any luck I'll be employed in the Department of Defence (Australia) in the very near future.

Currently a youth worker. Looking at a MSW or some other form of graduate studies within the next year or two.

SCI: grateful to hear you're working hard to become an intelligence analyst. We NEED you...and a lot more young people like you. Come join the fun. If you need any advice or information (anyway, the stuff we can talk about), you can find me on the BF!

OldPhysics,

Thanks for the kind words! It took me freshman year and a quarter into my sophomore year of college to realize that pre-med wasn't the route I wanted to take. OSU just started a Security & Intelligence program under the International Studies department and hopefully by the end of my undergraduate studies I can move on to Mercyhurst for their Applied Intell graduate program!

I am geologist.

I am finishing up a Master of Science in geology right now, and have spent the past several summers working as a geologist in the great outdoors. Before that I spent my summers as a student as a Lifeguard managing a beach at the local scout camp.

I like camping and backpacking, climbing (rock, ice, alipine), backcountry skiing and canoeing/kayaking. Anything to be outdoors in nature. I hope to get out of the city soon, live in the woods and get into hunting and a more minimalist lifestyle.

i forgot about the stuff people 'give' me. usually this stuff goes in a big room with other stuff people have given away.

i give as well, sometimes a spicy liquid, though not often.

I guess I'm what you might call a transportation professional. I can figure out how to move anything anywhere (on the planet). But that's what pays the bills. What I love to do is web development like www.PreparedToLive.org that I built. Hey Sasha :)

Sounds like a challenge Q.

Betcha can't move a couple million into my empty bank account.
I could use some tropical weather up here in frozen Michigan too.

:D

Right now I am working as an ironworker. I am driving steel pilings into the ground with a six ton hammer. Yes, my arms are very tired. We have destroyed three cranes since August with this hammer. I am hoping to destroy our current crane some time in the next few weeks, as I am getting transferred out of the labour pool and into planning. Once I am working with my brain I won't get to blow up the gear anymore, so this last crane has to go fast!

I took this job so I could pay for school, but now I am making more money than I probably would have if I got the schooling done, so I don't know what to do. I always wanted to go to law school but - is there a point now?

Also in my spare time I am working on a movie - wrote the script and it is currrently in pre-production. No, I don't know anything about how the movie industry works. Total fluke, first time. We are scouting locations this weekend - in the bush, of course, here in BC.
