What do you all do??

I'm an RF engineer. Antenna systems.

I'm a high school Latin teacher by profession.

I also like camping and motorcyle riding. My favorite thing to do is combine these activities, so I always "motocamp" when on overnight or multi-day rides. My interests in mechanical things and outdoor activities has naturally led me to an appreciation of fine edged tools.

the book is also great. one of my all time favorite movies.

back to topic, i think ive posted this somewhere else but,

basically i drive around, stop once in a while to talk to people, ask people about what they have done or what was done to them, then write about these little encounters. sometimes. sometimes i just drive away.

sometimes i give them a paper with a shortened version of the story, and let them know they will later get the chance to tell their version of the story.
What an eloquent spin on what we had such nasty names for as children.:D ;)
I like it Bro!

Full-time student; studying to become an intelligence analyst.

Part-time delicatessen; slowly killing me (but I've got to get money to fix my car somehow).

My uncle and I also sell special-order military surplus and supplies. Someone asks for it, we find it.

i'm a pre-school teacher, at my son's pre-school... i also help a friend run her outdoor science school during the summer, as well as guiding climbing trips....:D

I'm married to a woman with a good job and good credit. :)

In a former life I was a full time firefighter, now disabled by an on the job injury. I run beef cattle for a rancher on several pieces of land nearby. Middle school PTA president, scoutmaster, sometimes horse logger, sometimes custom sawmill operator, sometimes wildland firefighting contractor (timber faller). For many years I worked in the family business of selling/servicing firefighting equipment.

I'm a former Marine (0311, 8152) turned security officer. When I get back home to Indiana this year I'm gonna start all over and be an electrician.

I love the outdoors and have to get away from the city, even if it's in my back yard, just to stay sane. It's almost like I'm addicted or something; kind of like the knives and gear that keep showing up at my house.

I'm looking to get into helping with the scouts in my area because that would afford more time devoted to the woods without having to go alone.

I'm married to a beautiful, loving, annoying woman with whom my life would be far less enjoyable and/or complicated without.

I am a tree cutter in south east Ne. I clear trees out of fence lines and in pasters for farmers and others who need trees cut on there land.

Take care all,
Bryan

Me, too!!! Thank God for big-hearted women! :p

I was a student forever, then a lawyer for a while, then I met a woman who made all other pursuits obsolete. Now I'm a stay-at-home dad who gets to play around a lot with few responsibilities, so long as I worship the woman who makes it all possible, which I do whenever possible.

I think this is the second Thread on this topic...

I'm a retired USAF Colonel...a real lifer. Scientist with doctorate in solid state physics (quantum mech minor), former government program manager, former cat herder (I just pet the cats now), former Cub Scout/Boy Scout volunteer, former avid caver, former marksman (pistols!), former physics professor (USAF Academy), former government liaison, former lab physicist, former diagnostician/tester, ....

That's a lot of formers. :D

Currently, a commited spousal unit, a proud papa and hopeful grandpapa (it's taking WAAAAY too long), and a Senior Project Engineer for an important aerospace firm working at a national agency. See, there is a future for everyone!

SCI: grateful to hear you're working hard to become an intelligence analyst. We NEED you...and a lot more young people like you. Come join the fun. If you need any advice or information (anyway, the stuff we can talk about), you can find me on the BF!

Right now to pay the bills I am a real estate appraiser for the local county. To give my life meaning and purpose I am also a volunteer/paid on call firefighter/emt (been doing that for nineteen years now, here in northern Minn. and in the Twin Cities). Currently I'm on a small department that provides fire, rescue and ambulance service. Our ambulance coverage area is quite large with some response times taking up to 20 minutes or more. I also used to be a fire training instructor for the local community college. That was fun, but time consuming. I enjoy the time I spend here on the forums also and have learned alot from all of you sharing your info and experiences!

Hi Everyone, I teach English in Brasilia, hang out with my daughter (8), ride my motorcycle and get a lot of enjoyment reading books and BF and Glocktalk. Tim
