  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

what do you carry with you sebenza

8GB iphone with a horizontal belt sheath she rides in, my wedding ring, Midnight Manager 2, ear buds/ phone headset, keys (that got chopped out of the pic), with a cheap but very bright LED light. I also have a Paracord key fob with a lanyard tied into it. This combo gets the job done. (great thread)

I think it's time to buy a new Lg Reg. The last one I bought was in '01. I've been on such a classic kick since then. Every time a photo catches my eye, I end up with a new knife. It's a sickness.

Today

Spec Ops the Wallet Jr, large micarta Sebenza classic, Camillus demo camp knife, BRKT mini Northstar KF version, Freestyle Shark X watch.

Sometimes I switch out the mini Northstar for my Butch Harner custom EDC fixed blade, cocobolo handle and D2 blade. I always have my Leatherman Wave in my truck, and sometimes have my Swamp Rat buffed Howling Rat in my truck.

Gonna pick up a Casio G Shock watch next month, and saving up, along with all kinds of knives/guns etc, for a Seiko Black Monster watch.

I have enjoyed checking out everyone's sebenza rigs. I hope to add one to my EDC rig very soon!

The best of two worlds - Sebenza and wines from Chablis and Margaux.

Wow, there are some classy guys around here for sure.

Most of the time I try to pack as light as possible. The exception would be when I go for a lengthy ride on my motorcycle. I'll try to get a pick of my riding essentials in here sometime. The Sebbie is among them of course. ;)

Going out Sinn 656, Mission Wallet Simonich Bitterroot, Roting collapsible ??? pen, Glow fob, Prybaby, Peak AAA snow ultra, TnC Key-Lux AA 350Ma, CF/ZDP Calypso, and lastly my small limited Seb sporting it's damascus blade. Most of the time it's a small reg w/ Busse Game Warden on the hip.

(Forgot old nasty phone in both pics.)

Hey, the watch keeps good time. :)

You all are making me feel incomplete because I don't wear a watch or a wedding ring. I hate jewelry of any kind.

I should take a picture of this one of these days, but haven't got the time right now. Here's what I carry on a daily basis. Yes, it requires a man bag. :)

  • Small micarta sebenza. This is the only thing in my pockets (right front)
  • Wallet & keys
  • Treo 650. It's showing it's age now, but I can't get along without it.
  • Large moleskine notebook, unlined paper
  • Cross Citizen II fountain pen (14K gold nub)
  • Backup ballpoint pen
  • Leatherman. Currently a Charge Ti, but I've got a Juice Xe6 (gray scales) coming in the mail (smaller and lighter than the Charge and just fine for EDC)
  • Surefire A2 and spare batteries, but I'm waiting on a Surefire U2 Ultra to replace it as my EDC (it's on backorder)
  • Small first aid kit
  • 2GB USB flash drive that contains a backup of all the data I'd really hate to lose. Appropriately encrypted, of course. (Ever lose your turbotax files due to a harddrive crash? You do NOT want to lose your turbotax files!)
  • A bandanna
  • Whistle and compass -- never leave home without a whistle and compass!

I'd be carrying a firearm too, if the county would give me a CCW.

I could get all of this into my pockets and on my belt if I wanted to, but the minute I felt the need for a largish notebook I knew I was into man bag territory. So I just stopped fighting it. At present I'm walking around with a Maxpedition Remora, which works for me since I don't ever have to dress up. If I went into an office on a daily basis, I'd stick all this stuff in a laptop bag and no one would ever look twice at me. Also, if I lived in a climate that was more conducive for coats, I could get everything except the notebook into my coat and pants pockets.
