Retired union Glazier, DC-16. Everyone always asks what a glazier is. We are the window guys of the commercial construction industry. The glass and aluminum window systems you see on commercial buildings is fabricated and installed by Glaziers.
Now I have an easy job at my local Rural King.

Plumber ,pipefitter, pipewelder, medical gas Installer , backflow tester and repair, universal EPA refrigeration, plumbing code Instructor (23 years) . Work at a Veteran Affairs hospital. First hospital I worked at was at Prudhoe Bay after pipeline was built . Started as a residential plumber with cousins . Grandfather born in Indian territory, best carpenter I ever saw ,taught me to respect another man's trade .

I have been a Power Lineman for the last 29 years, Navy man before that. More importantly, I’m the proud father of 5 amazing kids and hubby to the most beautiful and amazing woman in the multiverse.

When I grow up, I really want to retire in a state EAST of dirty, dirty Washington where folks are kind, relaxed, hard-working, and still proud to be Americans. Friendly gun and knife laws wouldn’t hurt my feelings either. Does such a place exist?

Well, you need nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and glycerin. Glycerin can be extracted from some soaps but it would be easier just to use glycerin directly. It would be extremely not advisable to make it at home as it is very unstable.

Agreed, there's no good reason to make or handle nitroglycerin today.
