my dad cut glass for a livingRetired union Glazier, DC-16. Everyone always asks what a glazier is. We are the window guys of the commercial construction industry. The glass and aluminum window systems you see on commercial buildings is fabricated and installed by Glaziers.
Now I have an easy job at my local Rural King.

To do it in apprenticeship school, but it was rarely needed in the field. Most glass these days is manufactured with fancy UV coating and insulated ( double pain).

Come to SWMO. That is us.I have been a Power Lineman for the last 29 years, Navy man before that. More importantly, I’m the proud father of 5 amazing kids and hubby to the most beautiful and amazing woman in the multiverse.
When I grow up, I really want to retire in a state EAST of dirty, dirty Washington where folks are kind, relaxed, hard-working, and still proud to be Americans. Friendly gun and knife laws wouldn’t hurt my feelings either. Does such a place exist?

can you really make nitro glycerin out of soap?Another Buck knife hoarder. Also, Chemical Engineer on the side![]()
Well, you need nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and glycerin. Glycerin can be extracted from some soaps but it would be easier just to use glycerin directly. It would be extremely not advisable to make it at home as it is very unstable.can you really make nitro glycerin out of soap?
asking for no reason at all but curiosity.
