What do you do for a living?

I'm super fortunate in that it's become part of my every day routine. And also because I know a guy who's extremely well versed on the topic who I can send pictures to in order to confirm my finds. And also because my kid likes to join me and who has a great eye for it
We are indeed very lucky to live here! I’ve even found some liberty caps growing under cow patties before 😉

I may also consider a career in mushroom harvesting, turns out I'm pretty good at it.

Are those for eating or medicinal? Around my region, folks eat the kind that look like mushrooms. Morels, I think...

This was such a fun tread to follow. When it was temporally closed I was regretful that I hadn’t jumped in. I am surprised at the wide diversity of us knife weirdos. So here it is:

I’ve been a specialized paramedic for the past five years or so. Generally I really like my job as it comes with cool work trips and the pay is enough that I can afford me some CPK’s.

DRAMA GOAT!!!!!!

There was a little tiny bit of nonsense, but I've removed it and excised some healthy tissue from around the tumor too. Let's remember that this is a low drama zone and get back to our regularly scheduled gibber jabber

Thanks

if there's one thing I've learned from all of this, it's that goats can be completely terrifying when they want to be.

25 years in the video game industry. One of the only jobs around they actually pay you to be an artist. I started out as a texture artist, then environment 3D modeling, character creation, animation, and finally the last 12 years at a vfx house I helped found. I sold my share of the company in 2019 and have been living the pajama lifestyle ever since. I need to go back to work but the state I live in insists on keeping these health "measures" in place, so I'm learning how to be a farmer. I may never go back
