Mike your not really Ewan McGregor are you? i just saw him riding that exact same Guzzi
on "the Long way Down".
Great bike ,very much like an Italian version of my Honda 919.

Motorbikes are so much cooler than cars.

I am going to start a Sportster based chopper project this winter. I plan to have a Sporty engine in a hardtail frame. Here is another different bike I love with a huge big twin engine crammed into a small frame with a sporty tank.

My Mom actually has a pretty cool car. It is a 03 Civic SIR which is not overly powerful but has a fantastic suspension and is one of the last Hondas with independent suspension.

I'm not Ewan whoever....
I posted the pic of the bike because I didn't think anyone would want to see a pic of a plain jane Toyota Tacoma. :)

1990 Mazda Miata
2001 Mustang Bullitt
2005 Mini Cooper
2007 Subaru Forester XT
2008 Mustang GT

All have manual transmissions, and all are a blast to drive in their own way. The wife usually commutes in the Mini during the warmer months, and I'm most often driving the Miata. Come winter, we both drive the Subaru (we work opposite shifts).

Here's my gas burner, a 2007 Black Cherry pearl Toyota FJ Cruiser and my gas miser a 2008 dual purpose 650 Kawasaki KLR. Both have a little off road capability.

You people and your fancy transport devices. I drive an 88 GMC 1500 350 with 310,000 miles on it. Takes it a good 10 minutes driving time before it runs right, but after that it's smooth sailing. :D

The thought of real car payments scare the crap out of me, so I drive cheap...

Aubrey,
That is my grail vehicle:thumbup: I currently drive an '04 Jeep TJ, but would pretty much kill to own one of those Rovers!
Pretty awesome set-up, as well:thumbup::thumbup:

In August I did 3 days of racing school and had about 5 hours of flat out race time in this:

027-2.jpg

Ford Spec Racer. 1,650 lbs with driver. 110 hp. 120 mph top speed. The body work is literally 1 inch above the tarmac, with your ass strapped to a plastic shell 2" above that. Fun stuff!!

I drive a 1994 GMC Sonoma Regular Cab with the ZR2 offroad package, 4x4, Borla stainless exhaust, K&N air filter, coated brush guard and roll bar, PIAA spotlights, Vortec supercharger for the 4.3L V6, B&M Shift Improver kit, shorter rear gears, late-model Bose stereo (from a junked Buick Rainier).

Not a bad first vehicle, but I get about 14 miles to the gallon...I'm glad gas is cheaper.:)

2005 BMW 330i sedan.
The new ones look a little "French". I've also heard some horror stories about the "run-flat" tires that are now standard equipment--anybody have these?

Those run flat tires are terrible, my parrents just traded in their 05 330 for an 09 335.

We had to replace like 3 of those run flats. They get blisters or whelts on them from hitting the pot holes in SanFran. Also our tire pressure gauge never seemed to function right. I think they ran like $400 a piece? Those blisters on them cannot be patched or fixed. The ride quality suffers a little. The wheels were the 18inch factory rims that came with the sport package... THEY LOOKED SICK!

They said they've since improved them, but since they've only had the car for a week or two, i cant speak to that...
