What do you have in your BUG OUT BAG that no one else has?

I carry a basketball. Same principle as a flash bang just more specialized for urban areas.
 
I don't have a BoB, but in the few kits I've made I added some Bottle Rockets. I cut the sticks short knowing I could tape one back on.
 
1. Otoscope
2. Flashlight with magnetic loop attachment (to pull metal fragments out of someone's eyes)
3. Surgical kit
4. Nunchaku
5. Shuriken

Extra space, nail clippers and some dental floss.
My BOB is packed on the light side and only carry the core necessities. Extra space for picking up random shit, nail clippers since long finger nails irks me to no end and I have some splinter nails that grows on the side, and dental floss since I had cellulitis in my mouth once that got to the point that I can not open my mouth.

I keep nail clippers in my kit as well. Your hands are a vital resource in the woods and having a nail tear into the bed because you let 'em grow too long would just SUCK. They're also handy for other misc. tasks.
 
Thanks, Frank. I take the metal wire ones and slip off the plastic fly swatter and then cut the length of metal and then bend out the 2 pieces and slip the plastic fly swatter piece back on over them. I now have a shortened fly swatter.

A friend of mine that used to teach survival classes a few decades ago gave me a deck of cards that has wild edible plants on them. I thought it was a genius idea. Not only does it help with plant identification, but you can use them as regular cards too.
 
I keep dice up in the toe of my boots of my shorter foot. Left foot is 1/2 size smaller. In my BOB, I keep a tritium torch, which is a higher end beta light. Hard to come by & pretty rare in the BOB world.
 
Good post. I picked up one of these the other day: http://tickkey.com/images/Red_Key_High_Res.gif Hope I don't have to use it. Also have glow in the dark bobbers in my little fishing kit. I figure it might be easier to catch fish at night in some cases. I also took a McDonalds straw stuffed some power bait bits into it and sealed the ends with a lighter. I hope that keeps the bait fresh for a while. Also have salt and baking soda in my kit.
