What do you think of MicroTech knives

Heard some horror stories about their CS. I will not buy a knife that expensive unless it's backed by a good warranty and CS.

When you buy a product, unless it's a disposable or consumable product, you are buying into a relationship with a company. Knives, being personal to us here at BF, should provide satisfaction in ownership.

Things aren't always perfect but when a company tries to charge a fee to make things right - even if they wave it when it's resisted, shows an inclination that could be perceived as nickelling and diming folks they should be taking care of - especially if the product is pricey compared to it's peers.

There are many good knives out there made and sold by companies that at zealous about good customer service.

That said, I've had a bunch of their knives and never had to use the CS but, have to say, based upon the horror stories of abysmal CS at MT, I don't carry or use them. it's a shame because I do like the ones I have but prefer to use stuff I can count on ... the product and the company.
