I really want to see how a Forager does in chopping and other uses. I was thinking I might be able to afford the cord wrapped version, but I was wrong. I'll have to try again later.

Since several of the interviews I've done lately have centered around Tuesday Sept 11th 2001, my mind has been focused on thoughts of the treachery of evil minds. It seems fitting that the part of the Tolienesque project my mind is drawn to at the moment, is what may have been happening in North Ithilien in the spring of S.R. 1410, as Merry and Pippin began stalking Frodo in their conspiracy of friendship. I haven't had a lot of time to spare for editing personal projects lately...the forest fires put me way behind. I am fortunate enough that my editor understands that, having been a forester himself, and trusts my work enough to extend my deadline. But as soon as I get that turned in on Wednesday I have some photos from recent experiments that should make for a pretty cool thread on the happenings that April. This shot was an experiment based on my own memories of living in a cave along the bluffs here on the side of signal mountain in the winter of 1980-81, immediately following facing the treachery of an evil myself, and remembering the absence of colors in the gloaming-like atmosphere within. So, this is the one I'm totin' today
