What folder are you carrying?

Well, usually I take my Leatherman Charge Xti... but it usual lives in a bag so I don't loose it, but on short day trips it was always with me. I recently got a Benchmade Griptilian (550HG), and MAN do I love it. It's addictingly fun, and ridiculously sharp. Light, great grip, sweet blade shape, one handed opening several different ways, super strong axis lock.

Next on my folder list is an Al Mar SERE 2k and a Sebenza (long time to wait for this one!)

How much have you used your S90V millie? do you have any opinion's on this steel yet?

I just got it today but I can tell its going to be a great edc for me.
I made some nice fuzz sticks with the factory edge.
The whole thing reminds me of a folding mora.

For outdoor trips, along with the Cold Steel machete and the Fallkniven F1, I usually have a Cold Steel ProLite Drop Serrated along with a Cold Steel Land/Sea rescue for emergency cases (wich I am planning to replace with a Spyderco Assist soon).

I have a number of them to choose from when I'm home. Actually one of my favorites is a Buck 110 that I carry in its nylon pouch on my belt. It's big enough to handle most any chore, and it's light enough, that I don't really know that I'm carrying it. and for some crazy reason...it makes no sense to me!...people, especially "sheeple", look upon it more as a tool than a "weapon" (their term, not mine!)...sort of like with SAKs. Maybe it's because the Buck 110 is sort of "ingrained" in our society now as a "work knife."

I certainly don't feel "underknifed" with my 110 and my Vic Farmer on me when I'm out and about.

For work and most the time around the house I carry CRKT M16-12LE. It's a tanto blade which I need for scraping gaskets...prefer the flat blade for this work...like a gasket scraper but better. It's pretty beat up after using it almost everyday for 3 years but still functions great. I figured for $50 at the time it has suited me well for it's purpose, I would like to find another knife that works for me, but don't want to spend too much for something that I just trash!

Either Kershaw 1550 or an early Boye (dendritic steel) lockback - don't know what it's proper name is.

I've got a few SAK's and always have the Classic in my pocket but my goto pocket knife for 30+ years has been a Buck 501 (I have two). It's like a mini Folding Hunter.

When i went for my evening coffee tonight, i carried both a Spyderco Rescue Assist, and a SAK RESCUE TOOL, two of my favorite and much used knives (the SAK has seen a lot of use) .

I met up with a local LEO and gave a demonstration of both knives.

I love my Ritter Grip, take it out in the woods alot if i want to travel light.

Today I am sporting my endura 4 PE- Right front pocket, Delica-4 CE w/ black blade-Lrft back pocket, my vic farmer on a lanyard - right rear pocke, my SOG powerlock on my belt. I know it seems a bit much but over here in the sandbox you never know what is going to pop up. I also keep a RAT3/D2 attached to my drop leg. Back home I have my farmer and what ever knife I decide to edc that day. I would not feel under knifed if the only knife I had was my farmer.

I carry a Spyderco with a 3" serrated blade, not sure of actual name (looks like a mini-Police and is about 10 years old - I have the actual Police model in my BOB). I also carry a Leatherman Micra, it is a small but useful blade.

max..i am thinking the rookie.....

me...Mannix FG, ZT 0301, Griptillian, Tenacious..... and yes all four at the same time....overkill? perhaps. but i dont care.

I have had mine for almost 3 months, I didn't like it at first but it grew on me and is now one of my favorite knives. The only cutting I have done is to some cardboard and manila rope, so to hear how it perform's in the great outdoors would be great.

Thanks,
knifenut

Spyderco military and leatherman XTI.Been carrying the military since they came out and don't get dressed without it.Big enough to get the job done, thin enough for comfortable carry, and holds an edge REAL well.
