• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What folder are you carrying?

When I go out for a hike, I take my RSK Mk1, and I have a Leatherman Charge Ti in my Maxpedition Jumbo. I picked up my first Sebenza a week ago, I may take that out instead, I will have to play with it some more to see. My 710D2 is also a frequent choice when out for a stroll in the woods.

right now I have, SAK Rescue Tool, SOG spec elite I, SAK climber, SOG mini pentagon (which alternates with a Seal Pup Elite.)

Have a Spyderco Kona in my pocket, and a GITD Vic and Spyderco Rescue in my Versipak. All carried daily to work...

max..i am thinking the rookie.....

Thanks...

I looked up the Rookie - it is very similar, but I don't think that is it. The Rookie's blade is 3 1/8", mine is just under three and the cutting edge is only 2 1/2". Everything else about the Rookie is the same as mine, except my blade looks a little less streamline. My blade is a bit more stout and maybe, dare I say, a little 'cute':o:D.

I haven't been able to ID it yet. I know they don't make it anymore. My brother gave it to me around 1995.

Most of the time for outdoor and daily use i alternate between:
Opinel #6
Opinel #12 ( it is quite a pocketful)
Shrade Old Timer( old one made in USA) stockman pattern
Case Hunter-Trapper ( amber bone)
and some times but not nearly as often:
Kershaw Needs Work
Boker Subcom (plain edge)

I always have my CRKT M-16ZER and my SAK OHT. This is my EDC set-up.

I carry a Doug Ritter RSK Mk1 Folding Knife as EDC and a ZT301 when hiking or camping but it is a monster.

I'm not really a folder guy, I do sometimes carry this one...

And I always have the little SAK Classic Rambler at the bottom of this pic with me !
