Used to be this one. Huge and heavy, love it though.

Anyone remember if DawsonBob posted any specs with that design? Like thickness, blade length, etc...?

I remember looking for a new pocket knife last year and hoping and praying that one was going to be happening sooner rather than later. Ended up with the Pohl Force until that or something similar happens.

yes i remember him posting up preliminary specs awhile back. the main thing is it's not 1/4" thick so it's not a folding version of the bk-2 literally but more of in the spirit of a bomb-proof folder.

i hope this gets made at some point. that handle shape is unmistakable becker. i'm not a folder guy but this is one of the few i'd buy.

Either my Vic Spartan SAK or one of my Case stockmen (that's the plural of stockman, no?). I love the tiny tweezers that fit into the SAK, they get a lot of use on the trail.

i like crkt's, buck, and sometimes even a gerber.

i tend to carry crkt m16's and buck vantage's a lot. sometimes i'll even carry a buck stockman style pocket knife.

Slippies please, oh yeah I carry my Skeletool when I teach small engines so one of those too for now.

From ~1955 to 1970, I carried an old Colonial slip joint that my grandfather gave me and I still have it. From 1970 to 2000, I carried a Schrade stockman...still have that one, too. A buddy of mine gave me a small Sebenza ten years ago and I've had it in my pocket everyday since.

My continuous EDC is a Benchmade Griptilian. I can't say enough good things about it. It's light, easy to open, has excellent blade steel (154CM), an outstanding grind (making it one of the easiest to sharpen knives I've ever owned), and is very confortable in the hand.

I have been considering getting the orange Doug Ritter version as well.

Here's the backup folder to my BK2...um...no, here's the BK2 I back up my folder with...

Ive also been carrying a benchmade griptilian 551 for about 2 years. If I'm in the field or around town, it's always clipped to my pocket. I've even taken the thing to Disney World with no problems. My only thing is that I probably could have gotten the mini-grip and been just as happy. Very good knife.

vik huntsman and: at work, a CRKT BULL; on the weekends my Rake has replaced the RAT1 as primary carry.

I've been carrying the Buck Vantage Pro for quite a while now, and I love it. I sometimes switch with the Spyderco Tenacious and the Kershaw Skyline, as well. I've eyeballed the CS Lawman for a while, as well as the Ontario Rat 1. One will probably be my next purchase...

Another SAK guy here. I find them too useful to not carry. The farmer and tinker are my favorites, but i also like my one handed trekker.
