What folder would you buy if money was not a problem??

Oh....perhaps, I should EDIT my Becker photo post so it can get moved?

Because I read Moosez's comment.......and I read it with some snark in it.

Any mod say the word and I'll EDIT no problem. LOL

Man, that's what I get for jumping the......knife.

It was meant as a compliment. You had the only BKT content in the thread.

Nice save.

:D

there are a few customized Becker folders... just not production.

so if money is not a cost, you could make or pay someone to make... a Becker folder from a Becker

mmm

but posting fixed blades without a folder reference in a folder thread is off-topic too ;) :D

heh heh heh

I've been thinking a LOT about a 16 folder what with Dexwithers "lemonade" thread...I'll be working on some drawings, as I think the handle/blade size would be perfectly pocketable if "folderized. Hmmm....lockback, axis lock or liner lock? What say ye? I like the axis lock in the interest of keeping fingers out of the blade path, but it'd be pretty hard to execute in a home shop. Of course, in the hundreds of thousands of times I've opened and closed folders in my life, I've not ONCE closed one on my finger....(sound of knocking wood). Sharp objects = paying attention.

There is a two part video tour of Chris Reeve shop on YouTube, when you see how they are made its more comparable to fine watch then a knife almost. The cost seems more then justifiable when you need a few million dollars in machines.

Wow...i just watched both parts of the shop tour.
Pretty impressive.

Yea....good videos.

On my bucket list is a large seb, XM24 and microtech OTF

If money was no object, I'd quit my job, live off the interest (of all that money you've given me), and make my own dang folders. :D
