What folders are the Beckerheads carrying?

Thanks TBL, I am digging the wood scales on that svord! Have you seen the Svord kit? Blade, liners and hardware, you supply any scales you want, and its inexpensive too, as any svord Should be.

For the sanding, I started at 220ish to get the polish/high grit stuff off, then down to 100 I think. I don't think I did 80 unless it was just under the forefinger area.

I read about that in General a little while ago  I found mine at a local shop and picked it out of the 40 or so they had ;) the scales were in rough shape so I just took it apart and gave it some love. It's a nice little blade with a wicked edge on it.

Yeah Nikki, I like that a LOT! I'm not a folder guy so I'm ignorant to the maker and model. More info please!?

It's a Great Easter Cutlery Bull Buster....or a GEC 21.
Slip Joint folder, 1095 steel. Micarta scales. I love this one so much!

Besides my 550HG Griptilian, I carry a Wenger SAK. I don't know the model name but I carry it mostly for the pliers. I've been carrying this one in my purse for about 10 years. Some years ago after a wrassling match with a tail light bulb at a secluded location (that's all I'm a' sayin') and not having pliers, I promised myself I would never be without them again.

Off topic, I also carry the Snowpeak titanium spork for which I am endlessly ribbed by one and all in my life. But I will tell you what: When they are running around looking for an eating utensil, I am..... eating. Nuff said.

Huzzah!

If you look around you can still find them in O1 tool steel, possibly only left in orange and black delrin though. They ran their hardness high on it and it takes and holds a Really thin edge incredibly well. It makes for a Great steak and fruit knife.
Plus, the O1 patinas Really well.

Has there been a multitude of times where this has been an occurrence? If so, you need to start selling small EDC kits, or make them for xmas gifts...

Rat 1, Camillus Heat, Kershaw Blur....
and just new today...picked up at Lowes for $30.........CRKT Heiho .....smaller and STABBY......not sure how practical.....pretty cool for 30 bucks...

If anyone cares....just took the Heiho back and got a refund. Cool factor is off the chart IMO, but after carrying for a week, I found the polished G-10 too slick in my hand.

More often than you would think. Alas, I have no temperament for business and no longer do Christmas.

But it's all good. I have a spork!

Cheers! :)
