What folding blades to Busse fixed blade fans like to own?

Better get one quick. The center for knives has them at a great price. Spyderco is planning on discontinuing it from what I've gathered.

Too good to pass up at this price. Thanks for the heads up!!

oh those folding things are knives??!!....I thought they were some new flip phones..

Great thread Cobalt! I been meaning to start this same topic for a while but, not nearly enough time on the forums lately...

Here are some of my favorite folders:

My current carry while traveling through México, since I can't stomach the idea of donating a custom or midtech to the TSA. Cpm-m4 PM2:

Easily my favorite and also toughest folder currently in my possession, Dalibor Bergam Sirius:

Fat ass integral titanium handle, and a beautifully ground cpm-3v blade, running on washers....just about perfect for me.

Another super beefy, comfortable folder thatI've even batoned with, the Dervish Knives (John Gonzalez) Navajo midtech (as well as the slightly smaller Dervish NavajoEDC in the first photo):

Right now, these are the main blades I rotate for EDC duties. The Dalibor feels substantial enough in my pocket that I dont worry about carrying it around or losing it, despite being a custom...I'm always aware of it, such is my love for it...

Great knives everyone!

Yea the a Dalibor's are amazing! I love my Castor and Draco! My Mosier Indignation has taken the place in my pocket thought. Since moving to
Puerto Rico, I live in board shorts, the Mosier is a bit slimmer and lighter with the carbon fiber. Sure I'll rotate D's blades back in once I find a job where I have to wear normal clothes

That Mosier you posted is gorgeous! And yea, living in board shorts, I can see how one of D's pieces might be a bit too much!

That Mosier of yours though....just wow...enjoy in good health 👍👍

Thank you for pics, i might PM U with questions if U dont mind.
I tried getting one yesterday on A.....dot com and saw the price difference from $159-$300+ and the description doesn't say much, maybe its different blade steel

Spyderco's website says it's a discontinued model that they're currently discounting 40% (MSRP $399, sale price $240), but I just ordered one from Knife Center for $150. I appears to be the same model (K2) and same steel (CPM 10V).

There is a thread on the spyderco section of the forum about how a lot of the discounted K2's have a problem with lock stick. Most seem to be getting a great knife at a great price and some people seem to be getting the bad models that sellers are just trying to get off the shelves.

Sincerely,
Ego sum Chrysaora

I wouldn't say all that. Mine had terrible lock stick but it went away. That whole breaking in process. Of course everyone expects everything to be perfect and nothing should ever have to be mated to the other surface. I will admit the late lock up was off putting at first but it seems to be solid.

I actually ordered two those. I hope the buyer's remorse wears ofef once I've had a chance to hold them, manipulate the action, etc.

I think I'm going to get a ZT 0562, but can't decide between the elmax version or CTS-204P for $40 more. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I've got a 561 and 566 in elmax it works very well and holds a great edge. If the CTS-204p is even better it would be pretty worth it to me. Haven't tried it yet though myself.

Just ordered the 620CF, in the CTS-204P. It is on sale at that center for knives. Kinda disappointed that the CF's are no longer M390. Supposedly the CTS is as good, but I know M390, and I know it's good. But, I already have the std. 0620, and wanted a backup. It is that good. As is the 562. I have the 0562, and it is my absolute favorite knife. Just about perfect in every way. I plan to get a backup for it as well, in the 0562CF.

Apparently CTS-204P is better than ELMAX? If it is supposed to be, then if I were you, I'd probably spring for the extra bucks and get the 0562CF. But you really can't go wrong with either the 0562 or 0562CF. And don't forget, it has carbon-fiber scales. Or one carbon-fiber scale at least. The knife design is so good, IMO, that it is worth buying in anything other than probably ATS-34 (I've never liked that steel). I mean, even 440C, AUS-8, 154CM, it would still be a great knife.

Found a couple,
There are others but I seem to have misplaced the rest.... Its a symptom of having Triplets.... well that my excuse anyways.

Long before Texas Tool Crafters offered Damascus blades and other mods to Leatherman's.... there was these.. numbered Limited Edition Waves.

The 562 is my favorite ZT. I actually prefer it to the XM-18. I think it's probably worth it to spring for M390. Gotta lot of love for Elmax tho. These are all sporting it.
