What forum would you guys like to see?

I like the idea of a forum on sharpening and maintenance. Another one I would like to see would be on Japanese style knives.

I support CRKT, Sharpening, camping/fishing/outdoors. Also perhaps a forum about nonmagnetic knives (cardboard) moderated by Chang?

The first knife was probably used to cut stuff.

ANY forum, where the word "BEST" is banned.
Happy sharpening

The first thing that popped into my mind is a "Sharpening Forum". The one over at KFC does get a good amount of traffic and I'm sure that one here would be even more popular.

Also, I was going to throw in a few manufacturer's names like CaseXX, Cold Steel, CRKT, and maybe even Marbles, as forum suggestions, but then I read Gollnick's post and decided against it.

This just came to me, by the way, and I can't get access to my last post so I submit this as well.

I like to lurk at the "Sheathmaking" forum over at KFC. I would love to see a forum like this here since I believe that it would give our many sheathmaker forumite members a place to not only showcase their craft but to also possibly help those interested in this art form.

This forum would also present us all with a good idea as to who is doing what in regards to custom sheathmaking.

Personally, I love to see pictures of sheaths and to bookmark the maker's links for future reference.

Just a after-thought.

I'd like to see a bowie knife forum. We could discuss makers, history, use, etc.

It is the most famous American knife.

Hmmmmm.......

1. I do stray off to knifeforums for the sheath making, and for the Marbles forum.

2. I would kill to see CRKT set up a forum here. A have lots of their knives, and just as many questions.

3. A camping/fishing/outdoors forum would be heaven for me. The survival forum is very cool, but most of the topics are a little to macho (read extreme) for my sane outdoor excursions. I do some hiking and lots of fishing. I just don't need advice on which orange trash bag to sleep in if the world goes nuclear.

4. I'd recommend a sharpening forum, but I'm feeling pretty cocky with my new SharpMaker. And from the posts of others, I'm not alone. It seems as though the word "SharpMaker" would be the answer to 99.9% of posted questions.

To tell you the truth, BladeForums is awesome the way it is. I only use about 6 of the forums, but they're worth the world to me and answer almost anything I could think to ask.

How about a "Zero Edge Bevel" forum for Finnish/Norwegian/Swedish knife enthusiasts?

I also really like Gollnick's idea about a password protected compliment to W&C. Great idea - sometimes I like a biker bar - sometimes the Holiday Inn is better

...of course, the one I'd truly like to see is the "Mankey Praty Time" forum!!!

How about a low key forum like "Women with huge breasts that collect knives."

I suggested a General Maintence forum a long time ago. Well not in those exact terms, but someone agreed with me and called it that...
