How about all forums non-moderated? It works quite well over at talk.shooters.com. All players pretty much moderate themselves, with the rare exception of one as***le that keeps showing up. When he does, people publicly complain, and the next day, he is gone! No fanfare, no big explanation. They just ice him. All arguments are public, to keep eveyone on an even level. No back alley emails. It's pretty refreshing, really, how civilized peple can act, when they are allowed to police themselves. I'm sure it save the moderators a ton of work, also.

A while back, I communicated with CRKT about an error on the steel page on their site. It was at the time of the "Open Letter to CRKT" thread. I mentioned that in my e-mail mentioning the error.

Rob Bremer got back to me, and indicated he was following the open letter thread, and had not yet decided whether or not to post on it -- obviously he decided not. But, I take hope knowing he was lurking.

Picking up on some previous suggestions... how about a "Knives of the World", or something, forum? It could be a catch-all place to discuss knives from Indonesia, Scandinavia, Europe, etc. There are a lot of interesting, non-American knives out there that don't get discussed much.

I like the other suggestions too; "Outdoors", "Sharpening and Maintenance", etc..
