Yeah not a member long enough to speak to his character in any way but its stuff like this that makes me uneasy about the Exchange...

I have only done one transaction on the exchange, but it was with a Busse/kin "dealer", it went well.
It is pretty sad when things go south, especially when it is a member of our little community.

I need a tactical diaper bag. I dont want a purse type. Wife wants me to keep it at $50 bucks :( I was thinking 5.11 rush 12 and just forget the $50 part. Any suggestions on something that isnt too big and has molle in a solid color.

This has gone on long enough.

Greybush accepted money for knives and then did not ship them out.

Bladite explains in post #14, that Greybush was having some trouble, still no knives and he has not returned our money.

He sent me one email explaining the problem, saying he was sorry , and would get them right out.
That was 2 weeks ago and still no knife.

I send him and email 7 days ago, to contact me or I would do a formal post, no response.

He is a thief.
Thrillbilly rides again.

I PM'd him this past week and reminded him that a little communication would go a long way. No response though.
I'm not ready to start the bonfires just yet as I understand there are some family matters involved in the delay.
However, I see trailbum has already lit the kindling in GB&U. Maybe it's for the best.

I don't like the fact that Greybush's last activity here was January 7, and it appears he did nothing to contact the folks he should have.

Same here. We make our own yogurt, strain some as a starter for the next batch, and use the whey to make sauerkraut. All that good bacteria really does help with a lot. We've been a lot healthier in general since trying this. Less prone to colds and flu as well as just generally feeling more energetic.
I try to get my wife to eat home made yogurt all the time...... Maybe its the dispenser thats the problem.

UTG Multi-functional Tactical Messenger Bag- roughly $35 bucks. Plus shipping.

You could just send diapers in to a cleaning service. Oh wait....

:D

I saw some camo ones on clearance at Academy the other day. More hunting than tactical though.

Think for a minute how ludicrous that statement is... :D

There are three other Beckerheads that have been burned in this same transaction. I hesitate to use the others names because they might not want to be known here, but they have been frantically PM-ing me to see if I'd got my knives yet. I have not. There was no hesitation to take the money, mind you, so apparently not everything is delayed because of personal problems.
Having been one of the victims of Thrillbilly, I keep reminding myself of the "Fool me twice, shame on me..." phrase.
But it still isn't right. We've been waiting more than a month now.

Some folks used to wait months on a certain maker here. Years even.
He always delivered, but not without a lot of griping. At least this used to be the case. He fell off my radar a good while back.

My point though is that a month is not that long if someone's got serious family issues.

I'm most disturbed that Greybush has curtailed communications.
People need assurance their stuff is still coming, even if it's late.
It doesn't take much to come online, post up a mea culpa, and set things straight.

Went to a late Xmas party yesterday evening. We had a secret santa type thing where everyone put in a list of 5 things under 50 you would like to get as a gift. there were no names and you picked 1 thing off the list you recieved to buy for your secret receipient. then we were suppose to guess what present belonged to who. it was pretty easy guessing, as the person being quite normally knew the gift came off there list. well anyway i got one of my wifes friends husband a black and decker matrix attachment thing and this is what i recieved from a lady i have never talked to before. it was a friend of mines wife but she got me 2 things off my list. I was stoked! not pictured is an extra band set and a bunch of small metal ammo.

the slingshot is amazing! And so is the mora knife! the mora is defiently worth more than it cost for sure. i have already used both. i took about 50 shots with the slingshot and it shoots great. had to get it dialed in because it shoots differently than my arm braced sling shot. but it looks great and shoots awesome. there are alot of ways to hold this damn thing too. Im very happy with my presents :)

Well, yeah. But its a far cry from signing up to a known waiting list for something special -- than for a stock BK16 that someone already has.

Folks realize that Todd does his M18s a few at a time, and they are special, so they are willing to wait. But there is a much different expectation when you see an item on the Exchange and want it and the money flys off into space and nothing else happens...and emails and PMs go unanswered.
In the latter case, a month IS a long time to wait.

I totally agree that it's way too long to wait without any word or explanation. Posts, emails, calls, etc. only take up a few minutes.

Not for 50 unless you look at discount sites
