I am missing 4 things on that list.

Also about half the hair on my arm. I will have to get some baking soda and try that.

Daizee can't wait to see what you're holding out on.
 
I dont have a few things on the list but thats ok I dont really want them

Wheww. For a minute there I thought you was talking about me. 1 glass a beer a day makes you a alcoholic. Fortunately for me, I drink a lot more than 1 a day. So no alcoholism here. :cool:

I seriously just watched an "expert" video about cooking something and they used a metal knife on a teflon pan to stir in butter and flip their crepe. I was so irritated with their lack of cookware knowledge that I shut it off. Besides, cast iron is king, who uses teflon anymore? :D

My non-stick stuff is amazing and I use it daily. My non-stick wok is my single most used and favorite to use cooking device ever. I however use either wood or silicone utensils whilst cooking in said devices.

Hey don't be lumpin us all together now, I was raised on the music of my parent's generation (which unfortunately leaves me with very little new music to listen to). And now I have Baba O'Reiley stuck in my head.
 
Blackjack BK5 just showed up on the bay. Worst timing possible for me...

Im probably not that much older than you guys. I grew up listening to my older sibling's music. My very first cassette tape (when I was 4) was U2 Rattle and Hum. My favorite song was Helter Skelter- My dad crapped a brick. I am not a huge The Who fan. They have a couple songs I love, the others are just meh. I will not deny, though, that Pete Townshend (guitarist) and Keith Moon (drummer) are brilliant musicians. Thats the problem with most people today--they dont appreciate the artistry that went into this era/type of music.
 
We tossed all our teflon-coated cookware when it became clear that there was uncertainty as to the health effects of such things off-gassing at high heat. It's all stainless, cast iron, glass, and ceramic now. There are one or two aluminum pans too. Sticking a knife in a pan is a bad idea anyway, as the surface is often higher than the temper temperature of the blade, nevermind right-tool/wrong-tool issues.
 
Been looking at the Laser Strike because I've been thinking about picking up an Esee but the handle on that knife just looks about as comfortable as a lumpy rock to me.

A lot, I only have the 16 the 14 and the 9, but I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about (if I do get an Esee I'd probably get a E4 or E5 but I'm just not feeling it right now) so I'll probably end up picking up a BK-2 instead and maybe a BK-5 in the near future.
 
Do you live near a good knife shop? I'd recommend handling an LS, because they are very nice. I also love my ESEE3. Sure, there are handles that fit contours of the hand a bit better, but I wouldn't call either of then uncomfortable.
