What is on par with Spyderco Military

The Dejavoo has such a weak liner lock I wouldn't say it's comparable to the Millie. Poor F&F in the few I handled too.

A good lock in very important, you can always make more money, but you can't grow new fingers. ;)

The lock held fine on both of them. I was out in the field hiking in the mountians and stopped to make a fire and eat at another camping area. I broke one of them making firewood prying apart a piece of wood. It broke very quick too. I didn't have my fixed blade with me right then so I tried to use the Military.

The second one happened when I was at home doing some repair work and had to cut off some screws. Hit the spine with a hammer to drive it through and the blade just snapped after like 3 hits.

I am really very hard on knives though, harder than most I guess. I just expect them to take some punishment, most really can't or so it seems.

This isn't a matter of hard use. This is a matter of abuse. You weren't using the right tool for the job it doesn't sound like.

Some times the only thing that will get into where the screw is a knife blade or I would not use them to cut it off.
The bottom hacksaw is great for tight spaces. I'd never think of using a knife in the manner you do, but it's your money.
