Hi guys & gals!

It´s almost 2013. What do you have on your list for this year.

For me it is:

Case Texas Jack
GEC #23
Case Yeller Peanut ;)
GEC #06 Pemberton (after reading its size)
any Schatt & Morgan

Case peanut CV/Damasucs
Case toothpick damascus
Re-handle my GEC Bullnoses
BRKT Little Creek in CPM-154
Maybe a PSK in 154

A toothpick. Might be a Case or a Queen/Schatt, GEC or some other brand.
A GEC conductor
A GEC white owl with clip blade
A slimline trapper
A Queen #51 jack
A GEC #66 jack
A single blade GEC 74 if they make one.
Probably a peanut
Maybe a 250A Silver Knight in the checkered Kraton if I can find one.

I'll try to buy some GEC-Northfield knives in different patterns... (#12, #66, #72, #85 etc.)
because of the GREAT "old time" design, but in Germany it's nearly impossible, to find a shop, to buy one :(

Maybe you can help me a little bit, "Uncle Andi" ???

GEC SFO "CC HJ6" ebony Teamster's Jack (#66 Pattern)
GEC Ben Hogan Lockback (covers TBD)
S&M File & Wire Golden Wormgroove Single Blade Gunstock Jack
CASE "yellow" Fishing Knife (with built-in sharpening stone)

Good one Andi!

I have a Paaso puukko incoming from Finland
Definitely a GEC Pemberton
I'd like a Michael Morris friction folder
small Moki lockback
and I'm very curious to see what comes out of that "other cutlery" in Titusville this year, the new Queen/S&M. I have two older Schatts on my wish list, a series 17 stockman and a 3 5/8" SFO English Jack.

I have a few FB wish list knives too, a Marttiini "Scout" and a custom handled "Owl" Ilves (Lynx) FB. I also found another custom owl handled puukko on a Finnish site. The only thing with knives like those is they are more presentation/display pieces than users. I also don't have much opportunity to carry a fixed blade on my belt, they would definitely frighten the locals ;)

I'm sure GEC, Case and Queen will bring out cool new knives to drive me crazy and drain my bank account even more :D

A GEC or Case in ebony and a Opinel Gardener and #9 I want make my mine up on pattern until the last minute! I've decided the rosewood #6 will got to my wife as part of her 2013 Christmas; it's just a little to small for me!

K-E Lindblad damascus puukko

All due in the next few months.

Never too early to think about these things eh? No.:D:D

On the horizon, GEC 55 Houndstooth with Wharncliffe interests me but I hope this will stay single blade.

GEC White Owl in stainless for sure.

Great expectations for new releases from Queen Cutlery, I also need a back up Teardrop Liner lock badly but can't find one anywhere. Any Teardrop from Queen would be most welcome.

Would like CASE to release something I could get interested in, but.....e.g. a simple thing like the Penknife with bone handles.

Another knife from Fontenille-Pataud this time something other than a Laguoile. The quality of knife from this manufacturer can put the frighteners on custom makers!

Chambriard Le Compact in Juniper Wood, very nice modern interp of traditional, also well-made.

Enjoy the Coming Year!

Thanks, Will

No problem, Old Boy... just send me an email or activate your Visitor Message :)

GEC 57 halfwhit
GEC furtaker
One of those new GEC barlows (if I can find one-still new at this)

For me,
GEC #66 Jack
GEC #06 Pemberton
GEC #72 hopefully in snake wood or cocobolo (with a clip blade)

I thought I was done accumulating, that I had moved into "reduce the stock on hand" mode, but my hankering for a Tidioute 57 half whittler has returned. If I can sell enough to cover its cost, I may pick up one in coffee house acrylic.

Adding to my GEC #53 Cuban Stockman collection, plus any other interesting stockman I might find.

I've pretty much got all I need and want so the knives I pick up this year will be ones that catch my eye. I'm open to all brands and patterns. Perhaps if I'm leaning toward anything it would be a Queen or Schatt & Morgan made under the new Queen ownership. I haven't bought a Queen product in a couple years (I think) and would definitely like to start buying them again.

Chambriard le Compact in Juniper
12cm fontenille pataud with carbon blade and horn handle
Ohta Friction folder
GEC pemberton and hayn helper
Birth year case 4-blade congress or something
