What is one characteristic or spec from a manufacturer that disqualifies them for you

I own zero knives from Red China (yes, I am that old...)

I don't like assisted-opening knives (too many bloody bandages)

I like the hole-in-the-blade and flippers and wild grinds... but I carry simple, thin, sharp knives...
