What is Spyderco's BEST slicer?

The grind on the Caly 3 and 3.5 is crazy thin, that thing will slice like crazy. Definitely the best slicer I've had. Looking forward to the Chaparral, that should be a crazy slicer

For my money, the hands down best slicers are:
1- Stretch in ZDP-189
2- Delica in ZDP-189 Ties with Centofante 3&4 in VG-10
3- Persian2 FFG in VG-10

Yes . . . I feel the grind on those Caly's is really special and that's what I was referring to when I mentioned the "blade geometry" earlier above. I haven't seen a grind like that on many other Spydercos outside of the Caly series.

My Caly Jr's are my best overall. Razor sharp and thin.

I agree with Mentaculus, I can't wait for the new Chaparral to come out - a 2mm thick blade!

Out of mine, the Centofante 3. Stretch and Chokwe get honorable mention too, as does the super-thin PE blade on the Dyad.

I have to agree with the Caly Jr folks! I have an older micarta 8A model and it is my best slicer period!

I'm changing my opinion. Just cut up 2 tomatoes, 2 zucchini and about 2 feet of sweet saugage with my Sage 1. Wicked sharp.
Oh yea, the meal was good also.

Of the ones that I now have or have had in the past - Caly 3 ZDP, two different Paras, Millie, Bradley, two different UKPK, Caly Jr ltwt, Terzuola, Leafstorm - the overall winner is the Caly 3 ZDP, with the Bradley taking second.

This one is probably my best slicer (and push cutter).
