I've heard from some friends that Chris Reeve Sebenza model knives are the best folding knife going, but some other friends told me they're overpriced - what do you guys think, should I just get a DPx HEST, Benchmade, Strider, or Spyderco instead?

I'm putting the over/under for "replies before this thread gets locked" at 47.

you need to decide which friends are right then use your new knife to sever all ties with the friends who are wrong.

The one you like the best.
You may have to buy a few or a few hundred and then decide what you think.

I really, really, really want to see the Izula folder come into production.

I'd buy one before getting a Sebonzo or whatever they're called... ;)

Can't answer that question for ya,that's up for you to decide. If I told you what was best for me,you'd laugh your a$$ off.hint,It's not a tacticool folder, and not really spendy.

Ooooh, now this post has serious potential - I take back all the bad stuff I've said about Canadian's (except about the snowboard stuff up on Big Mountain/Whitefish; stay in Fernie ya line hoppin' rat bastids)...nice Spydie's!

I would say that Chris Reeve Sebenzas are the folder equivalent of Randall fixed blades, at least as far as "tactical" knives go.
