What is the deal with spyderco?

The fit and finish is very low.
I can say that it has the lowest fit and finish in production folders.
The only Spydercos that have good fit and finish are the Atr and some of those exotic ones that have the price tag very close to a sebenza.


Look at the benchmade.
Same,
Fit finish comes with a price tag and when we talk benchmade or spyderco , we are talking mass production.

Benchmade has a far better fit and finish than Spyderco.

Spyderco has far better design than benchmade, and origionality , and vision.


Spyderco is becoming as aggressive as benchmade in marketing, copying, paying for reviews, but with out the fit and finish. They rely on the name. The name can only take you so far.

But my Spyderco Endura will outcut your imaginary Sebenza 10 out of 10 times. :p

Edit: Trolling works better if you dont fish the same spot all day :p
 
For the price it's hard to beat what Spyderco offers in a knife. So what's the point? Maybe if someone is buying a $40-60 knife to use they don't care if it isn't finished like a fine piece of jewlery. Most people who buy mass production knives don't spend all day inspecting them, looking for uneven grinds, etc. They could care less, it's just a knife to them.

I think the question we all want to know is what is the deal with you and why are you still allowed to post here?
 
I realize a certain BFC member pissed you off because he expressed a negative opinion about CRK (which is his right BTW). But that doesn't mean it's acceptable or prudent for you to start a thread dissing Spydies and therefore Sal, who is very well respected around these parts. I am second to none in my admiration for CRK products (5 Mnandis and counting) but I firmly believe another member has the right to disagree with me or a million other folks about CRK or anything else if he so chooses. It's time to let this little "storm in a tea cup" pass. Leave Trigger alone he's already been beaten to death so let Ol' Roy bury the poor horse and just move on, please. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
You love your Sebbies, others like their Spydies. Let people make up their mind about where they want their money to go.

One other thing. Fit and finish are important to me but functionality is a hell of a lot more important, to me at least. I think the Spydies are pretty innexpensive and for the money they win hands down.

But a spyderco is not really different from a co0ld steel or an Almar, Actually, I think almar is a far better production knife :)

You really didn't learn anything from the other threads you started like this that were closed did you? Somehow I get the idea that you just like starting threads that will ruffle feathers S-4Ever.

I believe in tolerance. I really do but enough is enough. If I were a moderator here you'd already be warned and this thread would already be closed based on your past performances and where this is heading..

Why the hell do you care where people spend their money?? You have your Sebbies, let others enjoy their Spydies. In other words, JUST DROP IT!

To be honest with you, I have never seen him post a picture of a sebeneza. :rolleyes:

I agree, post a picture or quit nagging. It's really getting old. :rolleyes:

Sorry, It was not my intention to act like an ass, but I don't think it's right you go out and bash other companies, whoes knives may or may not be better than the Sebeneza. Tell you what. Buy one of each and give them to Mr. Stamp and we can all sit around a campfire and hear the results.

Mr. Stamp, you should get a Sebeneza, and then we can close this case once and for all.
