Thanks Bob and David!! It's true, David, they are very nice in the hand!!Thank you Charlie!Verah nice Ettricks you have.
I should carry one more. I really like the design of the Ettrick. They're very handy.

Great definition, Will!! They are truly useful cutting, carving tools!! But they almost seem to have been invented by someone who had never seen a pocket knife before!!!waynorth Charlie, the Lloyd has extreme appeal and gets the pattern just right (the luxury Stag helps
) But all of the others are on point too
My banal definition for what it's worth: Ettrick- weird but works wonderfully well![]()
Those are stunners! Can I hazard a guess..... horn, ivory, cocobolo and stag?Using this Joseph Rodgers version as a model, Evan made a set of Ettricks also!!View attachment 2622944
Note the heavier, more robust approach to the pattern!!View attachment 2622946View attachment 2622947
Good eye!! You are correct!!! Note how Evan copied the sapwood intrusion (the old Joseph Rodgers above) on the Cocobola handles near the butt!!Those are stunners! Can I hazard a guess..... horn, ivory, cocobolo and stag?
A real beauty, Kurt!!Here’s my Ettrick again but with some flowers. 3 3/4” and the blade is 2 1/2”. Neat pattern.
