I spent 110 on a Emerson CQC which I didnt like due to the thumbstud and I sold it then bought CQC7 for 70 new. So whats most expensive knife you bought that you didn't like. Does anyone not like a sebenza?

Once they get to the expensive range, I am a lot more careful with my purchases. The most expensive knife that I have gotten rid of is my ZT 350, which is shipping tomorrow. I do like it and think its a great knive but I know I won't ever carry it.

Picked up a used small Sebenza a few years ago, was ok. Sold it about 3 months later. Don't think I ever carried it.

Strider SNG CC model. It would be a great knife at $159, but I just didn't feel like I had $425 worth of knife in my hand when I held it. Sold it shortly after.

Small Sebenza 21 for me. I LOVE my Large Sebbie, but the small just didn't feel right in my hand. The build quality was perfect, blade centered, lockup 50%, just wasn't for me.

Benchmade Emissary. I thought it would be perfect for me, but I didn't like it. Sent it back (first time I've sent something back). Going to get a small Sebenza soon, but hopefully I won't be posting in this thread again ;)

I bought a Spyderco P'Kal. I did a lot of research on its use and style, and I loved the concept. I got the knife and it is amazingly high quality - better than many other spydercos in my opinion - sharp enough to split atoms [though its never cut anything since I've had it], ad I love the way it carries in the pocket. It can even be carried right or left handed!... yet... I cant use it well. I've tried and tried and tried, and I can only use it slow. Once I intrduce any speed or stress into the system I fumble it, and I've tried for weeks. Ultimately, I decied to just go fixed blade, so that being said, I have this brand new in box $120 Spyderco that just collects dust. I'm really disappointed in myself, and not the knife I guess. Everytime i see it sitting in its box it bums me a little.

Probably a Benchmade Griptillian. Just never warmed up to it. Kept it for awhile, tried EDCing it, but wasn't feeling it.

SOG Arcitech Damascus. Looked great in pictures and was a smooth and well put together knife, but not everything I expected for the money.

Strider PT.

once i held it next to a Wilkins clad Ritter Mini Grip, the Mini Grip spanked it in nearly every way. sold the PT while the selling was good. no regrets.

SOG twitch 2. Technically, i didnt buy it. I went to the store and was told to pick something out for X-mas. So, i picked it. So.....kinda bought it....
BUT ANYWAYS it has waaaaaaaay too much bladeplay. Plus, it grinds a bit when opening. Not very reccomended

Strider SMF. It was massive and didnt have enough cutting edge. For the things i use my knives for it was way to thick as well.
