What is the point to make a blackout? Yes, invisibility. So...

I'm going to skip the post and just go with the title. Since I got the photos out already . . .

What is the point to make a blackout? Yes, invisibility. So...
. . . so you can take photos of your knife. (beyond that I have no idea but I still like it)

Also not a fan of high-contrast lettering or logos on clips....as well unnecessarily large, artsy, or shiny clips. If you want to show off a knife, you can pull it out - otherwise why not allow it to be as inconspicuous as possible?

For sure it's a small nag that you can usually gadget away quickly. Still a bit annoying.

Ha! Everyone knows s.o.p. for taking out sentries from behind is to stab the kidney while covering their mouth, then slash the throat to prevent the sentry from alerting others. Oops, I replied to the wrong post, sorry!

Psh. SOP here is to stab them into both eyes (Rike Hummingbirds work well, they have the right size!) at the same time so they can't identify you even if they survive afterwards. You drop your dual wield folders and switch to your Husqvarna Chainsaw and fell them. On to the next sentry. They don't even care about the bright chainsaw colors after you take their eye sight!

Nothing to do with griptilian, and i dont like its custom ver.s.
Looking at kershaw makes me sick. So stupid spoiling of excellent 7007 etc.
Sharpie will paint my fingers and get in food

Filtrum sits at the dinner table, glaring at his knife. He picks up a sharpie. His dinner is getting cold, but he cannot stand the shininess of the logo. He begins to color, and continues furiously for ten minutes. At the end, his fingers are entirely black. His dinner is all black. But the shiny logo is still there. In disgust he pushes his cold black dinner aside, and glares at his knife again.

He's posted the same thread at least a dozen times, you can always catch the next one.

I thought you were exaggerating, but it only took thirty seconds to find a dozen threads about the depth of darkness he's looking for:

. . . now I think you're selling him short, it's probably at least two dozen times. He's also posted about black clothing, black watches, black boots, and black glasses, I think.

Give the man credit for having focus, at least he's not a quitter! ;)

How perfect... got a big grin out of that one.

I feel so dumb sometimes. Unlike so many here, the bitter, jaded ex-operators with a past... I'm just a knife user. I have no need for stealth tactics out on a job site. So with hundreds of thousands of knives on the market these days, if I look at a knife I don't like, I just move on. I have no tactical/operator/stealth conditions to be offended by when looking at a cutting tool.

I find ugly knives off-putting, but don't spend any time looking at them, either. Sometimes when reading the posts here, I wonder how so many find the time to be offended by pedantic silliness.

You bumped an old thread (which is against the rules, you should know by now) to post this comment about a post in April...

Really?
I understand that there is a language barrier, but you really need to do something to understand the rules, and take the advice given to you.

You said a griptilian is acceptable. Go make a custom griptillian in all black and get on with your life. You have posted multiple threads about this and you never accept any of the advice. Knock it off and grow up. Things aren't "Exactly" how you want it, Nothing is. Be an adult and accept it.

Some good come of these threads!!! F filtrum needs to start a thread listing all of the knives that meet his standards, and those that are close to meeting his standards. I think it would be of interest to many.

Although I don't have an obsession, I buy knives that are blacked out too, and maybe I'd throw down to buy a couple more.
