what is the sharpest FACTORY edge you've seen?

Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, CRKT, Buck, Cold Steel and many more brands, I've seen come out of the box scary sharp and able to remove hair without touching skin. In fact it's been uncommon for me to buy knives that aren't sharp. I can remember only a few that I sharpened out of the box. Now when it comes to keeping that edge is where things aren't always so equal.

Kershaw Skyline, closely followed by a Kershaw Cyclone.

I'd say Spydercos are no slouches when it comes to good edge geometry and out-of-the-box sharpness either.

I would cut myself with my Al Mar SERE 2000 and not even know it. Have yet to find a knife that comes close to that sharp.

All scary right from the package.

Spyderco tasman salt. Darned thing would push cut anything it touched, crazy for an Serrated Edge!

Spyderco Military.
All of the knives I'd gotten over the years were sharp, to very sharp, right out of the box. From comments I've seen I guess I've been lucky. The Millie opened my eyes to what "scary sharp" means. First day of use required no effort, I mean none to make the cuts.

VG-10 steel from Seki on my Spyderco cricket and progrip. They are sharp, but it doesn't last very long after some use.

It is remarkable how sharp a factory can send out a blade when they want to.

My sharpest factory knife ever received was my Izula.
