The sharpest knife i have ever owned but sadly no longer is a Murray Carter Kiridashi. One time it cut through the air and cut a hole into a parallel universe
A couple of my Schrade 8OT stockmen got a really good heat treatment at the factory and they will take a ridiculously sharp edge with just a semi-worn out diamond rod. If I stropped them, they'd be scary.
The next is probably an old Hackman with the two plastic handles that rotate like a balisong. The one I have was ground to a really thin edge, but I don't know if that was standard or not. Either way, it can get really sharp.
The key is that they have really thin blades behind the primary edge.
tough call. i really can't tell but i know it's between my navigator2, camillus heat, various SAK's, and various moras. it's probably the heat, though i hate the assist on that knife thus never use it.
i know the sharpest point on any of my knives belongs to the buck 110.
my small chris reeve classic sebenza with micarta inserts...thats my sharpest knife I have had the pleasure to own and keep sharp...But I have had many many close seconds come my way...Pretty much any brand new SAK is scary sharp, as well as any new mora, or opinel...So just goes to show a knife does not need to be expensive to be sharp!
