What is your church knife?

Well I have a case folder in my pocket, a Spyderco clipped in my right pocket and my IZULA II on my belt. Thats the same setup I carry every day.

Please excuse my ignorance, but when you say church knife,do you mean actually taking a knife to church,or is a church knife a particular design or style of knife.I ask because I couldnt immagine walking into church on a Sunday morning with knives on my belt or buldging from my pockets. For me personally, church isnt the place to be totin a knife, but thats just me.To each their own on that.

Well, it is all how you look at what a knife means to you. If a person thinks a knife is to cut someone else up for defensive/offensive purposes, then taking a knife to church might seem unholy. Me, it's a tool that looks cool. I am sure that many would find taking a knife to church rather odd, and then there are those who mean no one harm and happen to like knives, so for them taking one to church where it is in one's pocket is quite innocuous. Im sure that many would agree with you, that taking a knife to church is wrong. Good for you.

My custom urban knife, though I stopped going in church when they started to preach against the Bibles teachings...

Borrowed pic from another member.

My BF 2010 moose would be my church knife if I went to church...its been over 20 years since I walked in one, beside the point, I'd get this one out in front of sheeple without too much concern of the cops showing up.

Vic classic or LM Squirt P4.

To me,they are simply tools and there is always something around church that needs a screw tightened or someone who needs a loose thread clipped.

I see clips on pockets every Sunday but haven't seen a belt knife...yet.

When the parish and I are sitting around the fire in our goat leggings and face paint you never know when someones gonna come up behind you in the dark so you better have SOMETHING on you. Between the firelight and chanting I am often torn between coated and uncoated blades. Most everyone there is carrying some form of knife so after our sacrifices we can share in the communal pig roast to support people against goodness and normalcy. I prefer my loveless big bear as it has plenty of reach to get into the body of the pig and its great for dispatching our "sacrifices". However when the mood suites me I will also have a Strider SMF clipped to my chaps.

So I definatley prefer a larger blade. Some lambs carry POS chinese rambo knock offs or no-name steel knives. I try to tell my flock that when they die a warriors death do they really want to walk down Odins Hall to Valhalla with an inferior blade? Would they dare to look at Thor and Frey and say they belong when the weapon they chose to have on them is worthless and unproven? NO! So I encourage all of my lambs to carry a righteous bitching piece of steel that will last with them in the afterlife. Besides what pillager would strike fear into the hearts of non-believers with a Dale Earnhardt $3 gas station folder? Not very many.

So I say unto you all that when you are going to give thanks and worship, remember to bring the best. We burry you with what you have on you, so keep the best on you and you will have the best forever and ever. What will the runestones say when you depart this world?

ps: I am pentacostal, just thought this was too good to pass up:p

Our pastor carries his leatherman wave and the kershaw leek that I gave him after he married me and my wife.

Our church isn't real formal so I've often got a buck 110 on my waist along with my leatherman supertool.

If I'm dressed up and don't want too much pocket stuffings I probably have my Schrade 108 OT or my Victorinox Pioneer Pruner.

If I wanted something different I've got a Spyderco Kiwi, Kershaw chive, Kershaw scallion, etc that would fit the bill as well.

When I decide I can afford to buy me a present I'm going to give Case's Eisenhower with the icthus shield on the white scales a try too.

I'll carry something smallish to church like a G10 Peanut or Victorinox Cadet. But I also have a Leatherman Supertool 300 and Countycomm breacher bar in my Man Sack that comes to church with me.

A Fallkniven U1 in my pocket and a Wenger Evo 18 Swiss army knife in my briefcase.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with what I think a knife should be used for,and where I did I say that the puopose of a knife is to cut someone?

No disrespect but bad things happen anywhere so it's best to be prepared. I'm sure God will understand. The way things are these days, I'm never unarmed. I follow the motto "it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it".
